Oh ho.....
I know he can be inconsistent from 3 but this is surprising

I'm glad we don't have either of those losers on our team.

Lonzo is apparently shooting under 40% FG this season. He also hits only 64% of his free throws and 32.5% on 3s. He's averaging 12.6 ppg, 4.8 apg, 3.8 rpg, 1.5 steals in 30.8 minutes per game.

I liked Lonzo a lot coming out of college and wish we'd gotten him. And he has some real strengths. But the shooting is just so awful. People criticized Rubio for his shooting, but he shoots better than those Ball numbers. Rubio shot 41.5% FG, 36.1% from 3, and 86.3% FT.

I wouldn't mind having Lonzo off the bench as a backup PG. But if he wants a big contract after this year, I don't know that he'd be worth it. Do you want him as the starting PG after Paul retires or leaves? I might actually rather have Cam Payne start even though his upside is seemingly lower. He shoots much better and seems like he doesn't have as big of an ego. Plus you get to avoid the whole Ball family drama.

Shooting is an issue for Lonzo, but to be fair, you’re using last years Rubio numbers compared to this year Lonzo. Lonzo shot 38% from 3 last year. And Rubio is shooting 34% from the field and 18% from 3 this year.

With Reddick, there is a chance he's washed. He did not look good to start the season. It happens overnight for some players.

Ya I’m not interested in Reddick at all. At this point Galloway is better.

Cam Payne needs to prove he can stay healthy before I'd even consider him a replacement for CP3 as the starter. I've been kind of shocked, actually, that CP3 has played as many games and as many minutes as he has already. One big difference between starting players and backups, regardless of the ability of the backup, is knowing how to keep your body healthy with a large load of playing time throughout the season.

That's a good point. I shouldn't have compared apples and oranges like that; my bad, didn't realize I was looking at it the wrong way. Lonzo's FG shooting seems closer to Rubio's by that fairer comparison. The FT% is still worse, but the rest is close.

It was a weird ending with Nash and the crew taking criticism for not taking a TO up 2 to advance the ball.

Strange that a team with Kyrie, KD and Harden, coached by Nash, Amar'e and MikeD aren't playing much defense and can't see to get stops when needed...
Lol!

The all offense and no defense strategy.
You'll never believe this, but they basically ran an 8-man rotation with only 8 guys getting more than 7 minutes. DeAndre Jordan, their starting center, got only 19 minutes.

They obviously have one of the best Big 3s in the NBA, but I don't really believe in them as a title team. I don't think their defense will be good enough, and I think the superstars will clash down the road in terms of who gets the ball and who gets to take the big shots when games are on the line.

Westbrook had a 41/10/8 in this game (!), in 35 minutes of play. He's had a rough season so far, but he can still fill a stat sheet when he's healthy. Beal chipped in 37 and 6.

That would be awesome!

Still, even if at his best he compares to Ricky Rubio, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of his shooting ability. The FT stuff is weird, he’s awful. Ricky has always been a good ft shooter.

Well then, I say we dry him and see what happens!

I don't really want Redick. He's old and not clearly better than our existing bench guards. And he costs a bit much.
