Games 4 and 5 were rough…Game 5 was the worst for me. That’s the game that won the Bucks the series. Like we shot 55/68/91 as a team for a TS of .648 and lost. I went back to watch it, too. I was wrong about it being too high. you are right there--it was too low. DA didn't grab it, and he easily could have. He only had 2 fingers on it in his right hand.

But I should say that it is an amazing play by Giannis, and he deserves all the credit here.

Game 5 was brutal. I spent a bunch of money to fly out, just for the day, to see the game in person. Paid for tickets for myself, my wife, my best bud from school days, and my parents (!) to all drive up together from Tucson. We had a real nice time of it, but then having to watch the Bucks tear our heart out, knowing that they'd probably win the series, was a gut punch.

I spent more on my wedding, and on buying some cars. But yeah, I haven't had many days where I dropped that much cash all at once. It was fun, but overall the economics of going to just one NBA game are pretty stupid and ridiculous.

I think I dropped 25 times the most I had ever spent on single game tickets previously. Literally. But yeah, my last car cost 10 times more.

I think I dropped 25 times the most I had ever spent on single game tickets previously. Literally. But yeah, my last car cost 10 times more.

That is why I said property and not real estate. I have spent more on cars and houses in a single purchase, but that is it. Not my wedding. Not any single day of my 15th anniversary trip, or a European vacation. It was, at that time, a once in a lifetime opportunity. And I hope I get to do it again (with a different result!).
