My perspective has always been... None of this means shit unless they get a conviction. No conviction just adds more fuel to Trumps flames that it's a "witch-hunt"... When we all know damn well it's not. He'd gain votes and popularity if he's not found guilty.

All of this just gets in the way of America being able to make meaningful legislature to improve Americans lives... but instead we're just wasting more time and money on politicians going after politicians all in the name of dunking on the other party to get votes from their base. It's THIS kind of shit that is driving the rest of us Americans to understand (not excuse) the Jan 6th'ers. Americans are tired of our medical system, infrastructure (highways/roads), climate change and citizens rights.

Trump did a LOT of bad things. A lot of criminal things. He was willing to destroy Democracy in America for his own personal gain. The big lie was his numerous big lies about everyone who stood in his way of winning the election. For Democracy’s sake, he and his co-conspirators need to be held accountable. Otherwise we are right back there in the next election and worse.

We do have pressing issues at hand. “Americans are tired of our medical system, infrastructure (highways/roads), climate change and citizens rights.” And I only see one party doing anything about those issues. Dems attempted to improve healthcare and did add a lot of Americans to the list of covered. Cons never want to talk about healthcare other than gutting Obamacare. Biden got a huge infrastructure package passed to start his term and Dems are pushing green while Cons are angry at Immigrants, Blacks, Dems, LGBT, Bud Light, Target, Disney and the word woke while ending abortions rights and attacking librarians.
