Ayton had played well. Montys defensive schemes have been good. His offensive ones have been well...preseason like.

That was my worry as well. I've not been concerned much with rotations or offense in general. Defense and rebounding are the areas with zero margin for error.

Love the rebounding. Can’t see Durant’ s cold streak continuing (backing him in for a big third). We haven’t had a FT yet which is something given how physical it has been. We just gotta keep up the intensity - the rest will work itself out.
Also I know Payne didn’t make a shot but I didn’t mind his minutes. His pace and erraticness (if that’s a word!) makes the Denver d have to react and scramble and can open up some stuff for others.

I don't remember how many turnovers they had at halftime in Game 1, but I'm pretty sure it was at least double the 5 they have in this game.

Well we fixed our biggest problems from last game. 0 offensive rebounds for Denver, only 5 turnovers, and we took 17 3s. We also only hit 4 of those 3s and shot 35% from the field.

I just got to half time. What an intense, physical, 70's style basketball game. Other than Ayton's first weak shot at the rim, I'm pretty happy with his play and intensity.

Nuggets first offensive rebound comes because Jokic got away with a moving screen that pulled Ayton out to the shot contest.
