The biggest problem is the Booker/Green pairing in the backcourt and that they need a real PG to run the team and create shots.
I think the problem is going to be that they are running four volume scorers that to varying degrees are inefficient and just kind of get theirs. It's going to be very easy for the offense to devolve into guys taking turns just going one-on-one.
We've seen how well that works. I'd like to think Ott won't let that happen.
His lineups in the last half of the season and playoffs have me really worried about us relying on Ott.
It will be interesting to see how he utilizes our personnel to start next season. I do think Fleming will have a larger role. Maluach too.
The word was (according to Gambo et al) that Fleming was going to have a big role, perhaps even start this upcoming season. And then we immediately drafted Peat and traded for B*****s, which undercuts that completely. I’ve been big on Fleming since we drafted him, and thought perhaps the Suns’ staff had finally come to their senses, and then we get these nonsensically duplicative moves which undercut his chances. It’s frustrating.
As for Maluach, I still stand by what I said before, that he won’t physically be able to play starter-level minutes anyway.

I don’t know why drafting Peat is seen as a negative with respect to Fleming. If we believe that the team would rather chase wins than develop young players then there’s really no reason why Peat would play ahead of Fleming.
As for the Bridges trade I’d say that’s been discussed plenty and I don’t want to bring myself down any more than I already was / am.
Shouldn't we be calling Portland trying to trade them Jalen Green for one of their many PGs? Jalen for Jrue works straight up, for example. We need a PG in the worst way, and we have very little need for a chucking Jalen Green.
BTW, for those in the US, Happy 4th of July! IMO today is bigger than any divisive political BS and is about celebrating the great ideals behind the founding of this country and everything we aspire for it to be. Hope everybody has a great day.
Jrue Holiday is 36 with a 37m player option when he is 38, no thanks.
Exactly. Some of us are low on Jalen Green, but that's a ridiculous return for a talented kid. He may not be what we need, but let's not act like he's chopped liver.

I agree. And it's bigger than just the 4th. Happy Semiquincentennial! (That's 250 years for you semi-literate. ) I remember how big the Bicentennial was. America seemingly isn't treating 250 years as big as a deal. Oh, well, see you guys at the Tricentennial.
