That was my first time seeing Antotetetotetottekmopo. Why didn't he play more in the second half?

after 2 yrs, will be considered the biggest flop of the 2014 draft.

Kerr got his first win tonight, they held the Kings to 30% shooting & won 95-77 surviving awful shooting nights from Klay (4-14), Curry (7-17), Iggy (1-6), and Barnes (3-10.)
Go Suns!

The conventional wisdom is that U of A produces great guards but mediocre forwards. I tend to agree when it comes to Gordon.

BTW, Russell Westbrook scores 38 on 11-26 shooting but Thunder lose to Blazers, 106-89.

I think this season is going to be a feast for Westbrook-haters like myself. He'll have high-scoring games, and the Thunder will mostly lose them.

depends on where you pick em in the draft. if he was selected around 14 or 15th, it's defensible.

over the month we can get to observe westbrook's general effectiveness, but i think tonight the blame can't really be placed on him. that roster without KD was already somewhat thin and i think they didn't dress reggie jackson or jeremy lamb tonight, and ibaka was limited due to recent injury.

Two interesting notes from the first post-LeBron Heat game:

Chris Bosh came out strong with 26 points and 15 rebounds. Is there something to the narrative that his less than stellar play over the last 4 years was due to him sacrificing for the King? Will he reestablish himself as one of the best power forwards in the game?

Second note: another player that could benefit from James's exodus is top-60 point guard Norris Cole. He started tonight and delivered 22 points.

I watched the 4th quarter and overtime of the Bucks-Hornets game. That Charlotte crowd was FIRED. UP. Felt like a midseason battle between two division rivals vying for a playoff spot.

i've been reading that bosh will play inside more, which will help his rebounding. that team has to get its points from somewhere and wade is no longer gonna be able to carry the load, so bosh is back in that toronto situation that he left. he'll probably get close to 20/10 again. i'm sure he had his reasons for not wanting to go to houston. not sure if it's fair to question his will to win, because houston definitely provided a better chance at that than miami...

Bosh loves living in Miami and he got bus load more money to stay there. He already has rings, so honestly, it makes all the sense in the world that he would stay in Miami.

And do we really have to see the Knicks TWICE in the first week of national tv coverage? Gross.

certainly i get all that... which is why i'm wondering if it's fair to question his will to win.

Sports Stars go back and forward between Winning and recognitzion.

Bosh was the man in a hopeless Toronto team, and was willing to accept third banana status in order to win. Four years later, that hungry was well feeded and he is going back to the Me-First aproach. Therefore he took the highest bidder no matter how bad the situation could be, and get to be the Man on the team once again after Wade's corpse finish his "I'm-in-the best-shape-in-years" tour and colapse.

in other words, he's not really looking to win, he just wants to get paid? i'm curious if that means he'll continue to avoid contact and injuries, because he doesn't care all that much about winning? or am i reading way too much into this?
