At least credit them for honestly saying “Proposed” where most sites would say “Rumored.”

Good point. I should give them credit. I'll try to do that next time.

No basketball reason. I would rather have a point guard than $20M in luxury tax savings for Ishbia.
Sure. That would be great. But I’m not gonna begrudge Ishbia considering what he’s shelling out for the rest of the team. Everyone has limits, even Steve Ballmer (that’s why we have Eric Gordon).
That doesn’t mean I have to be happy about his limits. I would prefer he had no spending limit until he brings us a championship.

Warriors' Draymond Green faces 'one of the most important years of my career'
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/383 ... poole-more
"I look at this as one of the most important years of my career," said Green, who is entering his 12th season. "... It's not to redeem anything about Draymond. My goal is that we can help Chris Paul get his first championship."
Sneak diss. I still think the chance Paul plays the whole season with the Warriors is near zero percent.
Also, 3rd person Draymond Green sounds like the most insufferable conversation ever.

I know many here were ready to move on from CP3, and I am not criticizing the Beal trade... you sort of have to do that trade every time (not considering cap and pick implications, just from a talent standpoint), but I've always been a CP3 fan even before he was a Sun. I know it's probably near impossible, but if he got bought out and could sign here for the minimum and run our second unit, I would be totally for that.

I think he's a lot closer to finished than most people realize. He'll always be one of the smartest players in the league, but he barely jumps anymore and he's not a reliable spot up shooter.
I'm sure some people will try to compare this stage of his career to what we saw from Jason Kidd, but Kidd was much more physically durable and seemed to be better at adapting his game. I think we'll learn a lot about Paul's mindset if he's willing to rightfully accept a bench role with the Warriors.

He just isn’t willing to spot up…he shot like 50% on catch and shoot 3s when he did take them, just never did. Kidd was much bigger though, so you could play him defensively still. CP3 is a major liability on ball at this point.

Why do I feel like he’s still going to come back to bite us?

If he was youthful and had upswing,,,, sure. He’s old and spent. We’ll be fine.

I really don't think that will happen. My guess is he has one good-ish game against us, the first Suns-Warriors game of the coming season, and that's about it.

We've seen him go from 'washed' to productive before. I almost expect him to be good for this season in a last hurrah.

He’ll be fine…probably like last year. Sometimes look good and other times look washed. Probably just gonna see more of the washed version than last year.
I also agree with those who think the fit doesn’t make sense in GS…I still don’t see him finishing the season there.

Man, you guys really like to tempt fate. I’m with In2 and Split. Last season he occasionally had Point God flashback games and I just know they’ll come against us this season. Hopefully, just not in the playoffs.

Smh
I feel for the teams this happens too… unless it’s the lakers. Doesn’t the league sometimes compensate teams for stuff like this?
Ugh. Grant Gondrezick‘s daughter too.
