It's crazy how Trump still keeps saying that people coming across the border are coming from "prisons and jails"--when he may be trying to go from jail to the White House? Lol.

Idk if you knew this, but Mori posted an X post with this article prior.

I did not know that. I tend to ignore X posts these days.

Dr. Anthony Fauci says empathy motivated his medical career but an old phrase from high school kept him going
https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/18/health/f ... end_recirc
“The Jesuit priests, when you thought that all of a sudden the whole world was pounding on you, they would say ‘Illegitimi non carborundum,’ which means ‘don’t let the bastards wear you down,’ which … lately, that is a very relevant and appropriate saying,” Fauci told Gupta.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta: You talk about this interesting press briefing that you did. This is in March of 2020. And you had to correct the record, even if the President was talking. How challenging is that?

Dr. Anthony Fauci: I said to myself, “I have a responsibility to preserve my own personal integrity and a responsibility to the American public.” … So when I walked up to the podium, I said, “Here it goes!”

But then he called me in his office once when he wanted to ask me another question, and he was looking at three different televisions, and he says, “My God, these ratings are amazing. They’re better than cable; they’re better than network.”

The President — it’s no secret. I’m not divulging a secret about the President — he was very, very fixated on image and ratings. And he thought that the amount of attention that was given to the press briefings was really terrific.

And his comment was, “Wow, do you see those ratings?” And my feeling was, “The ratings are in the middle of a pandemic.”

Trump is a grade A asshole narcissist. It was always about him and his "ratings". That's all he cares about. So crazy that millions continue to lay at his feet. Brainwashed to the hilt by media is the only way to make any sense of it. Obviously, they are not thinking for themselves.

Fauci is very savvy in hiding his real work from FOIA, deflecting blame away from himself, playing the victim card, and blaming others for his own failures.

He got criticized during AIDS for not curing it fast enough. Reagan was President and wasn’t too concerned about AIDS since it was gay people it was mostly targeting. Of course we get an another conspiracy theory from in2. The evil Dr: Fauci plotting to kill everyone and profit off it. Muhahaha!

Dr. Fauci is one of the most selfless humans on the planet. He has turned down millions and millions of dollars to continue with his comparatively mediocre salary as that's where he can help the most people. Yet people like In2 continue to slander his good name without knowing shit. It is quite shameful.

Maga follows their leader and their leader says everyone and everything not Maga is evil and corrupt. Covid sucked and Trump and Maga needed someone to blame. Fouchi was the man.

Trump's campaign won't release any cash-on-hand numbers. Biden's team alleges, and I think this is likely true, that they aren't doing so because they're spending most of their campaign cash on Trump's various legal fees.

I'm sure it's because it's all in golden toilets and cash filled adult diapers. It keeps coming in like a tsunami, so it's always changing and hard to count.

Trump is quite proficient at using campaign money to finance his legal troubles.

Since his poll numbers go up after every indictment and verdict, you could make a claim that it's campaign money well spent against Biden's malicious prosecutions.

All I can do is laugh at that post. Trump should be leading 99% to 1 then.

Week after week. “His numbers keep rising.”

As far as I can tell the numbers really haven’t moved enough to really notice in years and year after year Trumps numbers are ALWAYS going up according to you.

You want to disparage me for some reason. It's not me saying it, it's widely known that he has gotten a bump after each one. I realize that you weren't polled, so that probably skews the numbers, right?

Show me Trumps poll numbers a year ago compared today after all the indictments and conviction. I would bet they are within a few points. Biden and Trump have been within a few points of each other for many years now. I am not buying the every time he is busted for something his poll numbers go up. He’s been busted so many times his numbers if that theory is correct should be through the roof, not almost always tied with Biden.

I am not buying it. I saw an article where it said Trump got a boost. Also saw another article saying the trials are hurting Trumps numbers. Like ALWAYS misinformation abounds everywhere.

MAGA people like to parrot this false talking point that the indictments and convictions help trump in the polls. The numbers don't support that claim.
