The reduction in 4 in 5 nights and back to backs is good. They need to just go to a shorter season, but still start the week earlier. If they can get down to 10 back to back games a year, that would be great.

Oh, and if they could do stands with teams, that would be ideal for when you play the same team twice on your home court anyway. If you want to do a back to back, do it with two games against the lakers, kings, warriors, and clippers at AWA, and the same in their arenas. That cuts down on travel for BOTH teams in a back to back situation.

NY and Houston are re engaging in Melo-Talks. The biggest burden seems to be the need for a third team to take on Anderson's awful contract. Would you offer to take him in exchange of Knight? No other assets in or out just about $6mill on cap relief for the other teams.

From our point of view, it would be like getting Anderson for $6mill given that Brandon is dead weight for $13 already in our cap. If Chriss is shipped out with Bledsoe, we would need a starting PF and this guy seems likely to accept a role within the timeline, as Bender develops.

With his rebounding rate, he's a prototypical Suns PF.

It's a contract year. Deflate his value, like we did with Len.

The whole thing with Warren at PF, is that he's done well there. It gives an advantage to the Suns if they were to run the other teams. He's 6'9", so it's not like he's way undersized, and it allows the Suns to put their best players on the floor. Ultimately, perhaps he's better off the bench, but I really think people are sleeping on him and he could have a BIG year. Too bad we don't have a Nash type or D'Antoni type coach and offense.

He's not Shawn Marion. I am not sure he can defend PFs consistently, but maybe he can. I think the biggest problem with extended time there is what happens to Chriss and Bender as a result. One of them is already going to be squeezed into minutes at Center. If we re-sign Len things are going to be strangely crowded in our front court.

He's not great at defending SF's either. Plus most teams PF's aren't the PF's of 10 years ago. He's not gonna give you much rim protection, so you need to play him with a rim protecting 5. He's also not Marion on the boards, but he was rebounding well last year towards the end of the season.

I agree with you on this. Even a two game series would be preferable. It would cut down on travel expenses too.

When did he grow from 6-8 to 6-9?

Little by little since he came into the nba. The reports came out last season, but it's not uncommon for guys to grow a bit after the draft measurements.
