I know I'm probably a little late since it came out 2 years ago, but has anyone watched Kaleidoscope on Netflix with Giancarlo Esposito? Wife and I binge watched the entire thing this past Saturday since it was cold and rainy. Such a good show.
Never even heard of it!
So without giving anything away, it's about a huge heist and each episode is in a different time period. You can watch the episodes in basically any order, and I think when it first debuted, Netflix users would randomly get different starting episodes. Each episode is from a different time period (day of the heist, 6 weeks after the heist, 24 years before the heist, etc.) I just let Netflix play them on a playlist and didn't click specific ones. Really, really good. Only 8 episodes, ~50 minutes an episode.

The Last of Us, Season 2. That first episode was an emotional banger! Wow.
Dis-cuss!
I've been waiting. Will subscribe soon! Maybe let it get a few episodes in first although I could binge WL in the meantime.
And after that I got an email from Hulu about getting Max for an additional $10 a month so I signed up and I'm watching the first episode now.

I haven't watched The Last of Us S2E1 yet (too hooked on Blue Prince, see Video Games thread). But I'll watch it soonish. I enjoyed Season 1 though I have no connection at all to the TLoU video games (didn't play them) and don't especially love zombie stories. I liked The Walking Dead the first few seasons, and I liked some zombie movies like 28 Days Later and World War Z, but mostly I get burnt out on these horror genres. TLoU season 1 was fun, though, and I love Pedro Pascal, so I'm definitely going to watch Season 2.
My wife and I finished The White Lotus S3 (we love that show! fun season) and also finished watching season 1 of Paradise on Hulu (meh; we didn't really love this one; found it cheesy and predictable).

I thought the dynamics between Joel and Ellie were hard to watch after their great relationship in S1. Makes me glad I never had daughters and had to go through those teen years. Then she has that complicated relationship with that other teen. The new type of infected encounter was cool. Those two have no respect for authority. And then things are heating up with that group coming after Joel.

A man with good taste. My wife and I talked about how so many shows have filler and drag things on (Severance had a lot of that this season. Season 3 of Yellowjackets has been that way so far too). The Last of Us, every episode moves the needle and is outstanding.

Totally agree about all of it. Season 3 of yellowjackets was a total drag. I just finished it for the sake of finishing it since I'm invested at this point

That was intense. Walking Dead never did anything on that scale in its 11 seasons.

I completed the first game but didn't get far into the Part 2 and never got to that part. And working for Sony, I couldn't avoid the spoiler. I just had no idea it would happen so early in S2! It'll be interesting if it can keep our attention without him as their relationship was the best part of S1.

Regarding TLOU Season 2:
► Show Spoiler
I anticipate a lot of flashbacks that will have Pedro during the timeframe that it skips over when we start up season 2.

Yeah, same. He WAS the series. So, yeah. Hopefully a lot of flashbacks like AIG mentioned.

TLOU S2,E3 related:

Not many Joel flashbacks. Pretty emotinal scene when she smells his clothes and starts crying. Dina does something for me. She's like a less macho, spunky and happier better-looking Michelle Rodriguez.

Also, the scene at the graveyard was quite emotional. I don't see how the two of them are going to take on that army in Seattle. But, the other group had similar odds when they got to Wyoming. But Joel just came right to them and made it easy for them.
