I think we'll win between 36 and 42 games this season.
I think your Kool-Aid is a bit too strong.
I say drink up! Its been a rough 8 years and its the middle of the offseason. Ill buy the next round.
Cheers!

The kool-aid taste good this year, guys. Put me down for a 42 win season. I think Booker is more motivated than ever and will be better than he has ever been. I predict big leaps for him and Jackson. I said in the another thread, if the Suns can get a decent pg, I think we can make the playoffs this year with the roster as is.
It would be so satisfying for this year's crop of rookies to just come in and dominate all these self-serving, hypocritical vets trying to ride the one another's coattails to championships.

If someone put the over/under at 37.5 wins with this roster I'd bet the under until I ran out of money.
We have real talent now and I think the team will make a significant jump, but the West is a nightmare.
Booker, Ulis and communication
A Suns source said Sunday that the organization understands why Booker is upset about not being given a heads-up regarding Ulis. The source said Phoenix followed its protocol; it called Ulis’ agent first, then Ulis, and after that tried to reach Booker but was unsuccessful.
Call it what you want – miscommunication, a screw-up, whatever – the Suns know it bothered Booker and will talk about it when they meet Tuesday in Los Angeles.
The source also wanted to clarify what it meant when General Manager Ryan McDonough said last December that Booker would have input on “major decisions” going forward. Phoenix asked for Booker’s input on the players in line to be the No. 1 pick and who he thought the selection should be. Booker also was briefed on Phoenix’s free-agency plans, the source said.
But the Suns aren’t comfortable with placing Booker in the position where he becomes, like LeBron James was in Cleveland, a de facto general manager. As the source said, “That kind of changes the dynamic a little bit and puts him in a spot that’s a little uncomfortable for everybody.”

At the very least, they can send a text asking him to call or at least giving a heads up. I agree you don't want to give him ALL that power, but if he's the franchise, he should be involved. On the other hand, it's not like we have RC Buford or Jerry West running the FO so I get there may not be a lot of trust overall from his end.

Agreed. Just 35 wins is a jump of 14 games and we still have a number of question marks, including PG and how to manage playing time for all those forwards.

I'd be ok with mcdo acquiring TWO out of these 4 PGs.
IT on a one year deal at 10 mil
teodosic via trade or signing
jeremy lin via trade
dragic via trade

Well, OKC did jump from 23 to 50 wins after they drafted Harden That said, I also agree. It's hard for me to expect such a jump, mainly because the conference is crazy. As it stands now, which teams can we expect to beat? Kings, ok, Dallas, Clippers, injured Grizzlies, maybe? Then it gets even worse.
However, I do expect big improvement and some statement wins against good competition. And nice basketball under Igor.
And a hearty welcome to Tourbillon (as we shoot down his Parker idea ).
Oh Thank you I am actually reading you for years guys (i remember when the board lost the official logos), just living in europe and watching very few full nba games am not able to contribute that much (and those past years were not the most exciting of my suns fan life ) .
But is is always good to be welcome, thanks

My 37 wins feeling is definitely the ceiling for year 1, we'd need probably an 18/10 rookie year from Ayton and another step forward from Booker to head near that. We'd also have to jump into the top 20 in defensive efficiency. I think we'll rebound well, and I expect a nice bump in our perimeter defense and shooting.

I think Ayton could be the first #1 pick to average 20/10 in his rookie season since Blake Griffin (9 years ago). That should be his goal at least.
