Maybe it's BC's son? The content of the tweets sound like a son defending his dad and he would have all the same information available to him.

If BC is out of the organization (as you have to assume he will be, given so much circumstantial evidence), does JC stay? How awkward would that be?

Also, I would love to do the over/under for other executive burner accounts. 5? 7? Is McD among us?

I'm a little uncomfortable with how this is accusing him, he denies it, but can't prove he didn't use the accounts.

Oh, I think he was caught. But even if he was telling the truth, how does he prove it wasn't him? Turn over his phone and all of his email accounts?

Could they pull ip addresses to see where these accounts were logged in at?

The 91 accounts suddenly went dark after The Ringer left BC a message asking for comment on the other two, so it’s BC, someone close to BC, or a heckuva coincidence.

Another thought: Hinkie, you sly devil. He still has friends on the inside. This could be an elaborate frame job.

If so, they would have had to know to shut off any accounts the Ringer didn't mention when leaving a message for BC.

I doubt it's a frame job; I think the accounts do belong to BC. The interesting part is, who tipped off The Ringer? Hinkie? How about Daryl Morey, who is a big fan of AI and ML and stats and such (or somebody who works for Morey)? Who benefits most from smearing Bryan Colangelo?

The article talks about it. It was just some person that saw some weird stuff on twitter, knew enough about creating some algorithms to see if there were any similar accounts, and found a treasure trove.

Twitter (and other sites that use similar techniques) might want to rethink how they deal with the “forgot password” thing. The information they give out is evidently enough to ID the account holder, at least in some situations.

Is it believable that his wife was doing this and he didn’t know? She doesn’t seem particularly adept at keeping secrets.

Not unless the wife is the team's media representative (or has some other connection to him ). Given that the accounts were hidden right after the Ringer talked to the media representative and that he stated he only talked to BC about it, either BC or the representative knew about the accounts.
