Hiring Monty was the best move this franchise made since drafting Booker.

Most of the credit for hiring Monty should go to James Jones.

I can't disagree with that.

Agreed. It wasn't clear cut that we should get rid of Igor, but there's no way our team would be in the shape it's in had we not made that move.

The fact that there's a face in management that's widely respected and admired across the league moves Sarver further into the background, which indirectly improves the perception of the team.

I’d give Bower some credit there too. Bower was the GM in New Orleans when Monty was the head coach.

Let's hope beyond hope that he is OK being far from any 'glory' we get by over-performing this year. He seems like the type of owner that isn't OK with that.

I'm excited. Chris Paul is really really frickin' good, him and Booker should get us 45ish wins.

Chris Paul’s team went 44-28 last year. I think this team should be significantly better.

Remember a shortened season so 45 wins is great.

72 games, same as OKC played last season. I would consider 45-27 a disappointment.

55-17 and that's being pessimistic.

39 or 40 wins if they sit Paul as much as I think they will.
