Was Delon another "gotta have" FA from Toronto? Not just for us but other teams? I'd rather roll with what we have.

Regarding FTs...we'd need a slasher or a big to get to the line.

Shooting and playmaking are different things and we lack the later after Paul and Booker. Overall shooting seems fine but Saric is the next best creator and that scares me. The way the roster is constructed looks like we are better suited for some grinding style, with slower pace on offense and long and focused defense. There are young players and fresh legs but not many gazelles. In any case I agree that having a true PG would give more peace of mind (Teague instead of Moore/Gallo?).

I won't be surprised if we finish #1 in FT% and last (or damn close) in FTAs.

That's funny because that is exactly what Wright does.

2 spots open. Room for a big and a PG.

Bigs available: Dwayne Dedmon, Taj Gibson, Ilyasova, John Henson, Anthony Tolliver, Noah Vonleh

Guards: Barea, Tim Frazier, Mudiay, Shabazz Napier, Isiah Thomas, Sheldon Mack

We technically only have one regular spot and one 2-way spot and none of those players are 2-way eligible.

Dedmon or Gibson are the direction I'd go.

If we're keeping the spot open in case someone gets bought out, it's simple. Waive Nader.

My question would be, why stick with Motley thru camp and preseason just to cut him and sign a new guy 4 days out. Even vets like Taj or Dedmon would need to learn the system and get into shape.

Are they working to bring back Kaminsky? It's not the move I would hope for, but I don't kow what to expect.

It's disturbing that Saric is both our 2nd best 'big' and a key to creating offense for the 2nd unit. Lots of eggs riding in that basket.

Would hope not. Doesn't really fill any needs. He's washed up. A big guy who's shot has left him that is limited on defense and doesn't rebound doesn't sound very appealing. Plus I can't take another year of him missing 2 footers.

G-League rights and a camp body.

Yes I’d be happy with either. Probably Desmond as center. I think jones’ inability to shoot just limits him in our offence and screws up our spacing.

Also I just updated my avatar. I hope there are folks on here who get niche Simpsons references.

We really need another big. Even if Saric is healthy. I hope JJ sees it.

I don’t really see it, we’ve got 4 guys that can play C, and 5 guys that can play the 4. Sure, another emergency big would be fine, but we don’t have any rotation minutes available if everyone is healthy.
