The Pels on the other hand.. Jonas generally eats Ayton's lunch and they have two elite scorers. They also tend to run more complex offensive sets while the Clippers lean on more isolation, drive and kick 3's.

In the two games Ayton missed, Jonas scored 23 points and 25 points. In the two games Ayton played, he outscored Jonas 20 to 18 and 18 to 17.
You realize they've played against each other before this season, right?
You realize Ayton has improved every year he's been in the league and that he takes his game up a level in important games, right?

He's such a smart player for a young guy. He already sees the game 3 steps ahead of the play.

We all knew the pelicans are gonna win this. With PG out it's even more inevitable. Pels are going to be tough but I think our experience wins out.

Don’t love them getting this confidence…
Though we aren’t the Pels. They may run the same stuff as us, but two huge differences. Ayton punishes small ball/switches and Mikal/Cam have come a long way in attacking when teams trap Booker/Paul

At this point, my main worry about the Clippers is them giving our team Covid. Otherwise? Suns in 4 tbh.
…especially if they are missing George for the first two games.
