Minnesota needs to ignore Ainges phone calls.

That's cruel and unusual punishment for Conley Jr.

Wtf is wrong with Ainge? How do you settle for 1 pick for Conley, Beasley and Vanderbilt? I hope there is more than it’s being reported.

We couldn’t have beaten this offer?? I’d have happily traded a protected first for Vando and Beasley. What is James Jones doing??

Yes, disappointingly better. All their additions look better fits than Westbrook

I'm pretty skeptical that this helps the Lakers much. Russell is a questionable asset; he's playing well lately, but I don't see a winner when I watch him play. Beasley and Vanderbilt are nice pieces, but I don't think they really address the deep fundamental needs the Lakers have. They're better, for sure, but I don't think this makes them a contender or anything.

They need a necromancer to ressuscitate Anthony Davis, but they are better after the trade.

Our lack of movement is frustrating. Not even hearing a peep about Crowder. Ishbia convincing him to play for us?

Yeah, I see this as the Lakers going from a C+ to a B on the contender grade scale.

Anthony Davis has made it through only one full playoff run in his entire career, and it was under optimal circumstances. Pretty high odds that doesn't happen again.

Is Russell suddenly going to stop freelancing on offense and not be a turnstile on defense? He's also choked in pretty much every big moment in his career so far. Having LeBron to lean on will help with that, but I need to see it before I believe it.

Also, for all the criticism sent toward Westbrook this year, he's been pretty damn good off of the bench. Now the Lakers don't have anything in that regard.

I’m so sick of other teams giving the Lakers good players for their trash.

Same. Especially since Aunge supposedly wanted a kings ransom for those guys and he ends up accepting the poo poo platter.

My quick takes:

1) The Lakers got better bringing back Russell (a much younger PG & better shooter) with solid SF's Vanderbilt and Beasley.

2) Danny Ainge must have 20 1st round picks. Is that even legal ?

3) Will KAT be happy now that his buddy D'Lo is gone ? It's Anthony Edwards team now in Minny.

I think KAT's a goner. I'm not even counting on him coming back this year. It's Ant and Gobert in Minny for the time being.

Lakers had Bron jacking up a bunch of 3s and at one point Pat B#@$? was statistically their best perimeter shooter.
In other words they were terrible from 3 and that nightly variance with opponents hurt them many nights

Bringing in Beasley n Russell helps there a bunch and Vando is solid
So really hard to mock any part of this move unless being in denial
