Because they are trying to generate interest during December…they have less of a problem generating interest after football is over. Christmas is often when a lot of people start paying attention to the nba.

Right. The "early season buzz" is about 3 days from wearing off and that's when the first tournament games are being played.

I'm not really feeling the "El Valle" slogan or design. Meh. I also didn't like "Los Suns" since it was mixed-language and looked like "Loss" Suns. And that purple-and-turquoise doesn't look right to me.
I'm not very excited about the "mid" season tournament yet. It just feels too early to have something like that. Oh well; we'll have to wait and see.
