If Houston trades our picks to Milwaukee for Giannis, we will never get them back.
That’s why I said trade Booker for Giannis and KD to Houston for our picks.
Yes, but that was a bad idea.

Fine, we’ll keep KD, Beal will replace Booker, and we’ll have a big 3 of Giannis, Durant, and Beal.

Not bad honestly but I hate watching Greek Freak play

Clippers would actually be very interesting to me, but I’d want Zubac and I don’t think they’d want to do that. I’m starting to feel like it will be Minnesota. Get ready for Randle/Divencenzo/Dillingham and maybe a pick or a couple swaps
To me that would be like when we dumped Kidd for Marbury. We would be worse on paper, but it would be a way to compete while rebuilding. I sure wouldn't trust Ishbia the way I trusted Colangelo.
Also, I'm one of those idiots who thought Rob Dillingham was going to be good. I thought he would be really good. Maybe he can still figure it out, although it didn't look like it this season.

I didn’t watch much of him…he’s just very small. He’s skilled though and it just might take some time for him to adjust to nba size/speed. He’ll always be a defensive concern, but I can still see 6th man in his future.

That core is probably better than our current one. But I would rather just rebuild and trade for picks if we are moving our stars.

Fine, we’ll trade Booker for Giannis, then trade KD to Houston for picks, then trade Giannis for a boatload of picks. And keep Beal as our main scoring option during the rebuild. Happy now?

I’m only happy if we end up with Wembanyama and the Thompson twins.

Houston was up 30, pulled their starters and had to put them back in as the lead got down to 13

I'd take Cam Whitmore, a first round pick and Markkanen from Utah in a 3 team deal with KD going to Houston and Reed Sheppard to Utah

Wolves cooked those Lakers white boys every chance they got. Lakers gotta move on from Reaves.

7 of 47 from three and they still beat the Lakers. Incredible.
KD for Gobert?

Aw, poor Lakers with their gifted Doncic bounced in the first round. That's really too bad.

For some reason I keep thinking DA will end up in a Lakers uni. Either way, they need to get a big (or three) on that roster who can play if they want to have a chance next year.
TWolves are still shaky for me but I'm kinda rooting for them to make a run.

Great minds. I came here to say that even after all that talk and a 3rd seed they just got gentlemanly swept by Minnesota. Lul.

Wolves would be really scary if they had a bit more shooting. As it is I don't think they can beat the best of the league such as OKC, BOS, CLE. They have a lot going for them, though: talent, athleticism, scoring, defense, rebounding, shot-blocking, star power, toughness. I think they're my #2 team in the West. I picked them to go to the WCF in the playoff predictions thread:

Nooo…I can’t be put in the position of having to decide whether to cheer for the Lakers!
