No CW show draws huge ratings. They have a really weird system on how they decide to renew shows because if any particular show they make was on one of the big 4 it would get canceled pretty much immediately.
That said, I haven't seen it yet as my tv watching schedule is pretty full. I'll probably check it out this Summer when all the finale's of the fall shows have aired.

Debuted at 2.7 million, not bad for that network. I'm gonna d/l a couple and see what the fuss is about.

Yeah that's nothing for the big 4 though. Take Arrow for instance. Last week it was only 2.4 Mil viewers. That's half of the lowest show on the big 4 (Revolution at 4.4Mil viewers). Meanwhile, stupid shows like Survivor and American Idol crush those shows with 9.5 and 8.7 Million respectively.
Anyhow, doesn't the plot seem vaguely reminiscent of The 4400? Or no?

The 4400 was about people disappearing IIRC, The 100 feels more like NBCs Revolution. Post nuclear apocalypse, they live in a space station, space station dying due to over inhabitancy, they send 100 people (young adults) to earth to see if its livable again. You get the point..

Just saw the pilot. Awful writing for the first 5 minutes. Once they are on the ground it devolves into a typical lord of the flies scenario. And all the surprises are about as bland as you'd find in a screenplay I would write. The ending and most "shocking" was the most obvious. It isn't "After Earth" level bad, but... that's probably not saying much. I'll say that I expected more out of a show with Henry Ian Cusick (give the guy back his accent, his American is dreadful) and Kelly Hu. Really though, the show will succeed on the basis of the teens plot line (everyone in Juvie is 15 to 17??) since that is who the CW markets toward.

After Earth was horrible, but it was the movie i took my fiance to on our first date. Pre movie drinks helped a bit.

After watching the premiere, I think FX has a potentially solid show on its hands. Billy Bob Thornton was quite enjoyable.
