I enjoy these kinds of experiments. Even if most of them wouldn't make it to the NBA, I just like trying things out to see what works. I especially like anything that either speeds up the game, or that makes regular season games more exciting / matter more. I would also love any experiments that could reduce how much of a slog the end-of-game is in the NBA. Like, maybe change the rules around intentional fouling, around fouling out, around free throws, around substitutions. Just go go go, make it faster, less of this call a foul, FTs, timeout, commercial, chuck a 3, repeat.

Reggie Bullock was bought out…seen a lot of people interested in him. I’d obviously take him…have a hard time seeing him choose us though when Milwaukee has a more locked in rotation spot available. I don’t think he’s better than Grayson Allen anyways.

Yea the idea I've seen thrown out there is trade Allen for McConnell for the backup PG spot and sign Bullock as the 3-D guy in place of Allen. It's not a terrible idea, I just think I'd rather stick with Allen.

You also have to cut a 3rd guy and there’s not an obvious candidate. It would be Bol or Metu and we just signed both of them.

True. What's the deal with Lee and Azubuike? They're 2-ways and don't count as roster spots?

Correct…we do have one more 2-way spot. I wonder if we can give that to Keon Johnson after we waive him(assuming he clears waivers).

Obviously? Not me. We have enough shooters right now.

Just roll with Allen. He's better than Bullock, by a pretty fair margin.

Well I wouldn’t start Bullock…I agree we have other players, but if he wants to come and there’s no expectations to start, sure why not. He’s better than Damian Lee.

No thanks. I’m not a fan of his. He was horrible in his first stint as a Sun.

Is he though?

Little has potential to be a major bench wing. Lol good lord. TJ isn’t playable in the postseason.
Why not? He doesn't shoot the 3 much though did well last year in low volume. What he really does that we need is defend and handle the rock. Unless he's fallen off a cliff defensively he should be able to contribute even when we shorten the bench rotation. It might be matchup dependent on who gets the most minutes out of Gordon, him and Allen.
Being a regular season hustler and defender doesn’t always translate in the playoffs when you’re a little guy. TJ isn’t built for playing against bigger guys. Go look at his playoff stats.
I like TJ, I just wouldn’t trade Little away for him. Little is more valuable.
Just because we don’t have a pure pg doesn’t mean we need one. We have 4 guards who will eat up minutes there.

Plus what if it isn't obvious whose ball it is?
Isn’t this just after a made basket? Or is it all inbounding situations?

In the clip shown it was a TO and they just ran over and threw it back inbounds.

Well we would have to wait 60 days anyway (since we would have to aggregate salaries), so we would have a better idea by then of whether or not we need a pg.

Ya he’s capable of playing defense. Lee isn’t

Am I the only one who thinks we match up better against Milwaukee now than we did prior to the trade? Who is guarding Beal and Book on that squad? I’m a little more concerned about where Jrue lands. Not sure I buy the Bucks being the favorites to win the title.

I do think we score against them easier…not sure how we defend them. Those games would be shootouts

If it comes down to a shootout, I must say I love our chances. Can’t wait for the season to start lol.
