They would have to give me picks to take Gallinari.

He’s better than Saric, but he takes up our space and leaves us without a PG and no money to spend

I'd rather have Saric. No point in taking Gallo. He's redundant and injury prone anyway.

Some speculation if Kyrie signs with the Nets, they'd try signing and trading DLo to the Wolves for Wiggins - assuming Dlo wants to go to Minny.

I can’t imagine why the nets would want Wiggins

Ya, what we pay Oubre doesn’t have any bearing on Russell/Brogdon.
Yes it does dude.
Unless we wait on signing Oubre until after we use up our cap space, which is a dangerous game letting him hear offers from other teams.
If we sign him right away it eats our space. We can go over the cap to sign him, but we can’t go over the cap to sign other teams FA
You can agree with Oubre on a deal and wait to officially sign him until we’ve used our cap space. This literally happens all the time.
Again, dangerous game. Allowing him to hear from other teams opens up a possibility of a team offering him a HB deal which would be awful.
It’s a risk. At this point I assume the Suns know if DLo is someone they want and someone who wants to be here.
I’m taking Brogdon and risking losing Oubre over it if it’s me.
If we can’t get Brogdon or Russell to sign an offer sheet right away, then I’m signing Oubre right away before allowing him to test the market.
We can’t actually sign Oubre or anyone else right away. Everything is verbal during the moratorium period. We can’t sign anyone until July 6, when we can literally sign Oubre one minute after we sign Russell (if he’s unrestricted by then). If we are signing a restricted free agent such as Brogdon on July 6, then we would have to wait until the matching period ends on JuIy 8 to sign Oubre.
But there’s no way around Oubre potentially hearing other offers before we sign him, because even if we agree with him verbally on June 30, we aren’t allowed to sign him until July 6 at the earliest no matter what we do.

Dump Jackson, stretch Tyler and we can max Russell. We can even take back 4ish million in a Jackson trade and still have a max slot.

My optimism is dead. I’ve been fully expecting Corey Joseph or TJ McConnell as our starting point next year for the last few weeks. Part of me thinks the Suns value Tyler’s contract for this season’s deadline.

This should be no surprise to anyone, Gambo has been reporting this for weeks.

We don’t even have to dump Jackson. Stretching Tyler and dumping Melton or Okobo gets you there I believe. Plus Woj says Nets are willing to work with teams on a sign-and-trade.
Based on this tweet from Weiss, maybe DLo doesn’t want to even consider us or even take a meeting with us?? I can’t imagine that would be the case tho since he’s best friends with Booker?
I just don’t understand why we aren’t one of the teams meeting with him...we have a much easier path to cap space than Minnesota does!

This is kind of ridiculous. I'm not a fan of the way she goes about her 'reporting.' I thought the same thing about all the things she said about Igor after the fact.
She's having a bad day.
