I think that comment is being overplayed. The way Ishbia spends money, I think it'll be more like the Colangelo days where we set records for being the most consistently good team.

Saved money and freed up a roster spot. Liddell was waived

We had to make space on our roster for Jones.

Yes. Both that move and the Little move were to save money and open up roster spots. Because of being over the second apron. Saving a million in salary becomes 3-4 million. You then use that money and roster spot to sign Tyus. This new regimes MO seems to be to spend if it will improve the team. But also to save money where it can if it won’t really make a difference. Roddy wasn’t going to play, neither was Little.

Suns signed Frank the Tank. Cool I guess.

Man do we have to be desperate to be looking to Frank.

He's the stretch big we're lacking, clearly.

Training camp deal…not a real contract

IMHO...I think a couple keys to success this season...

a. We NEED to develop and get some decent productivity out of Dunn, Oso and Bol
b. As the season rolls on, we need to see more lineups where Beal is juicing the bench unit and we can play a main rotation with someone providing good big man presence...see 'a'
c. Tyus and Moses have to live into our expectations/hopes for a true PG rotation...if we get that and the above pans out, we'll be overperforming expectations and should be on a run

Just a feeling on trends...we shall see...
