You trade KD for Butler because of 2 reasons

1. It’s not working and you need a change
2. You’ll get draft capital in return as well.

Also Booker probably not interested in a blow up.

I don’t know that nobody believed you…it was just about that specific trade that had Philly involved.

I guess I was just under the impression that Butler wants to come here so he can play alongside KD and Book. Windhorst stated no amount of money or role on a different team would make him feel any differently. Hopefully it is Beal and not KD, but who knows.

Now watch Butler kill the trade as soon as he finds out KD won’t be here.

It's always about Mat Ishbia paying him more than anyone else. He doesn't care about teammates or winning any more than his next contract.

Makes no sense to trade KD for Butler unless other pieces are coming in as well. Fuck that

I still think this is crazy tactics to try and get Riley to blink, threatening to pivot to trading KD to GS if Beal/Butler doesn't go through

Which would be bad enough in itself, but he loses the fight.
