Latest scuttlebutt has Memphis seeing what kind of package they could get for Parsons s*** contract and the #4 pick.
If Doncic is available, I'd offer 16, 31 and our unprotected first next season for him. Warren too if need be.
Forget it. Doncic is going #2 to Sacramento, and they’re not trading the pick.
The only way we can get Doncic is to forgo Ayton. It’s fun to imagine getting them both, but it’s pure fantasy.
I have to chuckle here. You are probably right and Sac will pick him, but the way that came off was a little arrogant know it all betting the mortgage on it.

If they were smart, they would take him. There's a lot of smoke around them taking Bagley, though.

I'd love to somehow get Fox from Sacramento if they take Doncic. Even if it takes a whole season for them to find out it won't work with both of them together, I'd be waiting to pounce.

DeAaron Fox isn't a point guard and honestly isn't that talented.

If Sacramento really picks Doncic, and the pick is not traded elsewhere, then here's my prediction: Luka's going to be a bust on the same level as Rubio (if you consider RR a bust). Doncic at #2 will be a bad outcome for both sacramento and luka.

No one considers Rubio a bust.

underwhelming, disappointing... late late bloomer?
rubio had a career year in FG shooting at 41.8% last season.

If i were memphis, i'd trade up to #2 by offering the #4 and a lightly protected 2019 Memphis 1st round pick
It depends on who the Knicks think they can get in free agency. If they get a star, it's totally worth the player and pick. Would you trade Frank + #9 for Cousins? I'm not saying it is going to for sure happen, but I do think it is possible. The Knicks are never shy about dumping long term assets to sign a big name free agent.
The problem is timing. By draft night they can't know who they'd be getting, or even if they'd be getting anyone. Moving the #9 and a nice prospect for such uncertainity would be very Dolan-esque, but with Porzingis injuried this season would be wasted anyway. Better wait, tank hard, get a high pick in '19 and Porzingis back, let Frank develop and build from there.

Doncic could force teams to pass on him by letting be known that he only wants to play for Kokoskov or he stays in Europe. Wouldn't be the first time at all that a prospect tanks his value on purpose. Now, if he doesn't go that route, I agree SAC is probably taking him and running.
