That's a pretty good schedule. It's nice that the long East coast trip doesn't have any back-to-backs, but going Miami-Brooklyn-Atlanta-Washington is kinda rough.
Facing both LAC and MIN twice in the last two weeks could be interesting.
Both of the Suns games in LA against the Clips are back-to-backs where the team is traveling, but at least the second one is a late-season home-and-home series where both teams will have the same rest disadvantage. Could be huge for playoff positioning.

Suns will be so far ahead by then that it won't matter.

Bobby Marks is an EPSN click farm. Please don't waste time debating his asinine opinions.

Bobby Marks has always been pro Suns and is on AZ Sports radio frequently. That said, I'll take it.

Either we keep Joe Johnson or we draft Tyrese Haliburton…those would be my top choices. I don’t think there’s one moment in history that definitely flips a title for us, so I’d take something that gives us multiple shots.

Great take!
I was hesitant to pick one, because I was thinking as you did, that neither among those it’s a definitive turning point. And then you came with not just one, but two better crossroads to undo. Authentic “out of the box” problem solving.

I think keeping Joe Johnson is the most likely recent move that would have won us a title. That team would have been just ridiculously stacked.

Ya JJ would’ve boosted those 7SOL teams…I think drafting Haliburton might’ve gotten us a title, but more importantly we’d probably have a Hali/Booker/Bridges core right now with Ayton and CamJ too. Or we’d have Durant plus Booker and at least one of Hali or Bridges. We’d be set up as good as anybody for the next 5 years.

Regarding changing Suns history, there’s only one answer and it’s not even close. We get at least one title, if not more, had we got Alcindor/Jabbar.

There is no other answer even close to this one.

My Suns’ history does not date that far, you guys could tell me if the team was just a piece away from the title at the time of that coinflip, but if they were on stage one and Kareem was the foundation, even if we talk about transplanting a developed, motivated and commited Kareem to the Suns, not sure if that title arrives before he leaves for LA.
Could you please elaborate what was the state of the roster at that time, but please using present time players’ comparisons, because probaly the names form back then, at the most, just would ring a light bell on me. I’m just from the ‘93 wave of fans hehe
