Watching this made me kinda sad. King gets asked what his fave childhood memory was (around the 2:55 mark) and he basically didn't have any so just hesitated at the question. Put Lindsey in a bit of an awkward position too.
Through all the glamour, money and fame, we sometimes forget the rough upbringings that some of these kids had.

According to Stephen A. Smith, Lillard isn't 100% locked on getting out of Portland, but if Portland can't get him help, he'll only want to go to the Lakers or Knicks.
Naturally.

Don't get me wrong, give Booker the max, but why is he getting an extension now? Isn't the team just throwing away half of the cap space next year? It's not like he will turn down the max contract next summer, and he's getting the same money anyway. As competitive as Booker appears to be, it seems like he could understand that extra $20M (I guess?) cap space helps greatly next year when everyone is a free agent.
You know Booker doesn’t live in a cave right? He just saw what happened to DeMarcus Cousins and him losing out on countless MILLIONS of dollars because of his Achilles injury.
If Booker suffers an Achilles injury next season, is someone gonna personally offer to pony up the $$ to make up for the difference in the crappy offers he will get next summer?
It would be such an idiotic risk for Booker to take especially after seeing firsthand what just happened to Boogie Cousins. And seeing how McD conducts his business, Booker is educated enough to know that he will get kicked to the curb immediately if he suffers a similar or worse injury.
You described why Booker should accept the max contract a year early. That part is obvious. But the team doesn't gain anything except a bit of goodwill, which I doubt will help a lick if we are stll bad ~2 years into the contract.
What if he demands a trade like Bledsoe did when the Suns wouldn't give him an extension last summer? Is it worth that? Is the $9M of additional cap space worth him possibly demanding a trade and Suns looking like the worst professional team in all of sports surpassing the Cleveland Browns?
Sure, he can demand a trade. He can demand a trade anyway. I didn't get a feeling that the relationship with Booker is in any danger. Just that he's tired of losing, and having more cap space would help that. Anyway, I just wanted to see how people here feel about it, now I know

Game time!

McD: Would you mind waiting to sign, so we can have more cap room to sign some help next summer?
Booker: Yes, I would mind.
McD: OK, forget it. Let’s get a deal done.
I imagine it going something like that and don’t blame either of them.

"We have a lot of new faces on the roster, starting with Trevor, but not ending with Trevor. We will continue to be aggressive"
That really makes me nervous.
We were promised aggressiveness in free agency and it led to Trevor Ariza.
I hope this doesn't mean we are trading for Kyle Lowry or Jeff Teague. Ditto for John Wall. Even Damian Lillard scare me because that would be an awful defensive tandem in the backcourt, which is what led to Portland getting annihilated by New Orleans.
Could be a move for Kevin Love.

Can we send Ariza out as part of a Love trade.
Man we have to move some players to clear up the logjams.

Is there an available point guard you would trade for?

He cannot leave next summer.
That’s what they told us about RFA Joe Johnson.

No team can offer Booker more than the max.
Sarver ended up offering JJ the max and JJ still begged him not to match.
Even if it’s not over money, something could happen to make him want out (look at recent Suns history). And being a restricted free agent makes that easier/more likely than being locked up as the face of the franchise.
You are mistaken. I am QUITE sure.
JJ got 5/70 from the Hawks. Suns initial offer in 2004 was 5/45. Their first offer in 2005 was 6/60. Their last offer was 6/75. At no point did the Suns offer JJ the max. After he agreed to terms with Hawks, he said he didnt want Suns to match but would come back and be professional if they did match.
Suns negotiated trade that was the catalyst for the dissolvement of the Hawks ownership group.
Okay, it was a max offer on the Hawks’ end, and Sarver said he would match it. But Johnson begged him not to. So Sarver decided to do a sign-and-trade. If he hadn’t screwed that up, we would have had at least one championship.

6/70 and 6/75 are not the max salary.

Joe wanted to be the man, he waisted his best years in Hawks. That 5/45 excuse is same as i was abused at the players only meeting by Kawhi.

Do we think there are more changes coming? Or is this our 15 man roster:
PG: Knight, Okobo, Harrison
SG: Booker, Bridges, Daniels
SF: Jackson, Warren, Reed
PF: Ariza, Bender, Dudley
C: Ayton, Chriss, Chandler
Two-Way: King and Peters

I'd swap the positions of Reed and Bridges. To me Reed is a pure 2.

That's fair, I just think Bridges will be ahead on the depth chart and putting them this way has Bridges in the 2 deep, he'd be 3rd string at SF
Also, still think we should move Warren

No, but 5/70 was the max the Hawks could offer.

We should definitely trade TJ. Or Josh for the right star. One of the 3s that can’t hit a 3 have got to go
