They play completely different games though, Bamba is a true C, stayed down low, Noel was a wandering weakside shot-blocker. Yes both are skinny, but their games are nothing alike IMO.specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 12:34 amTall, thin framed centers known for shot blocking and incredibly raw (aka not existent) offensively?TheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 5:06 pm2 completely different players.specialsauce wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 4:08 pmLet him have the next Nerlens Noel.![]()

You are probably right but I’m avoiding any big man who is an offensive liability. Just screams bust to meTheOriginalOriginal wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 12:49 amThey play completely different games though, Bamba is a true C, stayed down low, Noel was a wandering weakside shot-blocker. What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Bryan Colangelo: ‘Someone’s Out to Get Me’

The way he’s handling this is as bad as the Twitter behavior. Even if I believed for a second that this was going on without his knowledge and the tweeter is somebody named Not Me, BC is still being a dick.

We should make a "Did BC Do It?" poll.
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Most likely it won't be possible to prove that he was involved and it won't be possible to prove he wasn't. What sucks is that "innocent untill proven guilty" principle likely won't save his job. The shadow of doubt can hurt the franchise too much in the offseason. And it's a big offseason for 76ers.

Looks like 91 also had a Disqus account under the name “Jacob Reuben” posting similar material to the Twitter accounts, plus a post gushing about BC’s physical attractiveness.

Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
If we could lock him up on rookie scale and control his rights for the next 7 years, maybe. But I don't think I would trade out of the top of this draft for anything other than a top 10 player in the league, and nobody would give you that for the pick.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 6:12 amWould you trade our #1 pick for Rudy Gobert?Indy wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 5:23 amGobert.specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 12:55 amYou are probably right but I’m avoiding any big man who is an offensive liability. It’s a platform used for comment sections on a lot of news sites (and other kinds of sites). It’s kind of convenient in that you can use a single login to comment on lots of different sites, but if you’re trying to be anonymous and you use the same account for multiple sites, you’re helping out internet sleuths in situations like the current one.Indy wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 8:16 amI have never heard of disqusCap wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 8:14 amLooks like 91 also had a Disqus account under the name “Jacob Reuben” posting similar material to the Twitter accounts, plus a post gushing about BC’s physical attractiveness.

LOL, the BC investigation goes deeper and deeper. I saw people saying that the password recovery number on the burner accounts matched either BC's phone or BC's wife's phone, depending on which account. I'd guess that they are all just BC and that he borrowed his wife's phone to get the burner accounts activated. I doubt his wife cares that much about Sixers management and players to tweet about them constantly.
Saw a great Twitter comment: "Sixers twitter should be put in charge of the Mueller investigation."

Between the talk about his looks, the bragging about sitting next to celebrities during the Beijing Olympics, and a few other clues, I’m inclined to believe it was the wife. I am, however, disinclined to believe she kept it up for two years without telling him. The author just seems so darn proud of her posts, and bad at keeping secrets.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 9:29 amLOL, the BC investigation goes deeper and deeper. Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Gobert is so overrated and the fact that he is used as the only example to defend spending a top draft pick 7 footer with no offensive game is a joke! How many busts have there been that fit this bill in the last 10 years?AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 6:12 amWould you trade our #1 pick for Rudy Gobert?Indy wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 5:23 amGobert.specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 12:55 amYou are probably right but I’m avoiding any big man who is an offensive liability. Diop, Noel, Thabeet, Sene just to name a few off the top of my head. There have been many others, and Gobert is like their lone savior. So much bust potential.
Bamba should be picked 10-15 not 5th.

Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
Oh, I agree. Just posing a hypothetical. I'd never waste a top 5 pick on a guy so heavily "one way" as a defender with no offense or super limited offense.specialsauce wrote: ↑Thu May 31, 2018 9:50 amGobert is so overrated and the fact that he is used as the only example to defend spending a top draft pick 7 footer with no offensive game is a joke! No fricken way would I trade our #1 pick for Gobert and I like Gobert.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.
Re: Around the League: 2018 Offseason
I couldnt trust the results--I would wonder how many burner accounts Sam Hinkie had to create to try and sway public opinion.
