They play completely different games though, Bamba is a true C, stayed down low, Noel was a wandering weakside shot-blocker. If we could lock him up on rookie scale and control his rights for the next 7 years, maybe. Gobert is so overrated and the fact that he is used as the only example to defend spending a top draft pick 7 footer with no offensive game is a joke! Oh, I agree. Just posing a hypothetical. Diop, Noel, Thabeet, Sene just to name a few off the top of my head. There have been many others, and Gobert is like their lone savior. So much bust potential.
Bamba should be picked 10-15 not 5th.
I couldnt trust the results--I would wonder how many burner accounts Sam Hinkie had to create to try and sway public opinion.
