I was going to say the same thing. Glad to see he stayed in shape!

The Kings/Lakers SL game was entertaining. Wagner looks really good and reminds me of Markkanen. Bagley looked big out there. I can't wait to see what Ayton looks like on our SL team. Friday!

Apparently Chriss is in town and working out with the guys? It is so weird that he wouldn't be on the roster.
Yeah, I don't get it. They said he was going to work out in Seattle instead. Maybe they just wanted more playing time for our four rookies? Although Bender is playing.

My prediction for our SL starting lineup on Friday:
Harrison
Reed
Bridges
Jackson
Ayton

I feel like my prediction isn’t very bold though.

Also, will anyone be disappointed if we don’t win the SL championship? I think I would be. I feel with with the talent we have and the fact Igor is coaching, makes me think we should freaking dominate SL. Then again, if it’s not the suns I don’t really care, so I don’t really know what other teams are bringing. So, what do I know? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The SL championship is the only one we'll be competing for within the next 5 years, so sure, lets win something.

Doesn't make sense to me to not start Bender or Okobo. I don't think Reed is long for this roster personally, he didn't show me anything last year, hell he didn't show me any reason to even be drafted but that's beside the point. Bender/Ayton could run roughshod on SL if they are willing to work and are ready to play.

Depends on if we play everybody to the end of the tournament. I thought I read Jackson might only play the first 3 games.

I was thinking seniority at least to start but yeah, then Bender should be starting.

I'd bet there is a good chance Chriss has quietly asked for a trade during the off-season, and would rather not do Summer League with the team. I think the Seattle thing is just more an excuse to get past an uncomfortable question.

There are limits on how many veterans can play in the SL, you can get around it if they played in the D-League or were injured part of the previous season, but they might have wanted Bender and other players there instead.

Bridges is so skinny.
The Dime Drop said his nickname as a freshman was "Noodles."

I said on draft night that Atlanta was f*** stupid for trading Doncic for Trae. I think Trea can be good, but he was super risky. Yeah, they got an extra pick, but they had a sure thing in Doncic and to trade that away for Trae? Who is one of the biggest candidates to be a bust? Yeesh.
I cried a little when I saw that JJJ was there with the 4th pick and Doncic was available with the 5th. Surely 1+16+creativity could have gotten us both.

I think he's on the trading block and we don't want to risk him getting injured.

He is spending tons of time with the team though so I find that hard to believe.

Sacramento's summer league team will be tough, although it's really only their starting lineup.
Fox, Mason, Jackson, Giles, Bagley is a tough starting lineup. Heck, it's close to their main starting lineup.

Nah. Are you the guy that goes to a restaurant, orders, and then keeps looking at what everyone else ordered and second guessing yourself? We got Ayton and Mikal.

Summer league is not about championships, its about development. I do not care if we win the SL championship or not.
