Just finished the game...
Too many non-productive players out there tonight. Ayton (per usual ), Carter, CamJ, Galloway didn’t bring anything to the table.
Crowder has been Ariza-ing us til the second half when he played better.
Cam Payne has been solid.

In case you haven’t figured him out, it’s always going to be something with Ayton. Suspensions, injuries, lack of focus, tentative, out of shape, bone headed plays, head scratching decisions. The list will continue to grow and repeat.
It’s 2 games. I get it. But this shit never ends. His teammates and the Suns analysts are clearly sick of his shit.
I’m moving him before he plays himself to the bench and loses even more value. He doesn’t bring anything to this team. He’s more of a distraction than anything at this point. He’s the elephant in the room.

I don’t think I’d say Crowder has been Ariza-ing us. He’s just been missing shots..the effort is there.

Yes. Please don't ever use those two names in the same sentence ever again. It's not even close!

Effort is there for sure. Just took a little while to produce

Crowder starting taking it to the hoop in the second quarter and became less of a drag on the offense.
At 6-6 and about 230, he needs to do that more often ...

Ariza was overrated and then quit. Crowder is a bit overrated too, but I think we'll never have to worry about his effort.

I think Ayton needs to lose weight. I was watching some video of him throwing down crazy warm-up dunks while at Arizona and he would explode off the floor in a way that he doesn’t anymore. He seems to have no explosiveness these days. He’s slow off the floor. Between that and his poor hands, small forwards are successfully challenging him at the rim.
It might be time to work out more than 4 days a week, big fella. Shed a few LBs and get some bounce back.
He's almost at his 2nd NBA contract, so he's probably good enough to achieve his career goals.

It seems the bandwagon for getting a real backup PF/C is getting bigger...

I think Crowder is a fine starting PF against most teams, especially if you have a similarly skilled PF on the bench to play about equal minutes.
Getting a real starting C is a different problem...
