This my main hope but Nets won’t be contending anytime soon, just getting the best player available is good enough perhaps, even if it’s a division rival. I’m hoping you’re right though.

It was Green that recruited him after his ass got be by LeBron. Isn't the story that he called KD right after losing Game 7 from the tarmac and asked him to come help him beat LeBron?

Since Ayton is off the table for the nets, any crazy way for us to trade for KD without Mikal??? 
How about if Cavs agree to sign and trade Sexton?
Sexton agrees to a 4yr/100 contract so basically go like this
Cavs get: Cam Payne, Crowder, unprotected 1st from Suns, 1 draft pick swap from Suns.
Nets get: Sexxxton, Cam Johnson, Shamet, Dario. 3 1st round picks from Suns, 1 first round draft swap, 3 seconds from Suns. The Film & television rights to Kevin Durant’s feature film debut(and cult classic film!) Thunderstruck
Suns get: Kevin Durant.

Toronto is the one team I could see snaking in and snagging KD. I don’t think they’d offer Barnes, but you never know. FVV/Siakam/KD could win the east

I actually think Indiana is the Suns best bet since the Pacers are under the cap. I think vets like Buddy Hield and Malcolm Brogdon would appeal to Brooklyn. Indy is a good idea, but they're not a team that traditionally spends big money on free agents.
