We’re on an Alaskan cruise with our whole family and in laws… kind of the last big trip well probably have as a family since our boys are getting older and starting to live their own lives… one of the main objectives was to have them visit all 50 states… Alaska being one of the last, along with Nebraska, Iowa and 1 other state that borders them (can’t remember which) and they’ll have them all done. Most of the states were my in laws taking them, and pretty lucky to have such cool in laws that do that. In fact they covered our boys portion of the cruise which was super cool of them. Anyhow…. One of the coolest things we’ve done is a crab fishing tour. It’s in a converted crab boat that was on season 2 of the deadliest catch. The tour is above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of going.

Never been to Alaska, but it's on the list soon.

Hope you get to check it out, I’ve definitely been blown away. I’ve always enjoyed discovery channels plethora of shows based in Alaska (deadliest catch, Bering seas gold, gold rush, Alaska the last frontier) and just assumed they just always showed the best shots of Alaska…. I can confirm the whole state is just that beautiful. When I get home I’ll see if I can post a couple of the videos.

I did a band thing for the military in Alaska a couple of decades ango and went on a cruise there with my wife and some friends a few years back. A lot different than the desert. Gotta check out the glaciers before they are all gone.

You and Bone world like it…. They’ve had a couple of really good musicians playing in the piano bars.

Speaking of glaciers…. We’re in glacier bay…

Beautiful country. I've never taken a proper cruise yet. Looking forward to doing that in the next couple years.

Been on a few.

Was looking at Kryptonics picture and think that’s the same place from my picture. Now not so sure. I know I went to Glacier Bay and have other pictures of another glacier that was pretty huge and clean like Kryptonics and not dirty like my picture. If it’s the same as my other picture, then the glacier has receded quite a bit.

When I get home and have better Internet I’ll see if I can figure out where it’s at. When we were on the glacier they were saying that it’s moving at like a foot a day.

Honestly with my spine issues and finally traveling with my gummies, cruising is the way to go.

You must have a wheel chair because I have never done so much walking as I do on a cruise.

Lots of gummies….. lots. We had a room with a balcony and I spent a lot of time just reclining there. Just incredible how beautiful it is.

My wife is a go getter. She can’t stand to sit still anywhere. She likes to fill up the day with activities. I’m on vacation. I want to relax and chill. She won’t let me.

Funny my wifes family is the same way and we travel with my in laws a lot. My mother in law loves to cram the itinerary with something every second. My wife used to be more like that and has balanced out a lot better over the years because of my pain issues and my in laws are very understanding.

We get home later today…. Afraid to see what the scale says. Granted I really didn’t go too overboard on the eating till the last couple of days. Damn the food!

As a guy who programmed computers for most of his life, it didn't do much for me. Most of the vocabulary was unknown to me. Sounds like it's QA specific for business software. But the gist is cool. He found a bug and made a big deal about it but it apparently wasn't valid due to the method used to find it so his team rallied behind him and found another bug? after days of relentless troubleshooting.

I've had to spend days and even weeks on finding obscure crashes with other team members (usually memory overwrites) which it sounds like this was.
