Did they finally come out and say it Jon in the books? I know the show has been making out like it's Stannis.

If you have 16 mins to spare
, this video does a why better job than I ever could. It does a great job breaking down Azor Ahai and why probably Stannis isn't him. [youtube]

So I think he will be safe from burning. I totally think they will leave it as a big cliff hanger for the season finale whether he is dead or not too, the dicks!
Also does anyone think Ollie is going to be one of the assholes that helps in the stabbings? Me thinks so, haha.
I have no doubt that Ollie will play a major role and may even wield the dagger that stabs Jon himself.

This thread is too hard to navigate! I'm caught up on the show. Do I look at these "spoiler" posts or no?

Not if you haven't read the book.

Yeah, if you are going to do spoiler tags, only make them for the books. You shouldn't need them if you are caught up on the show.

They are for the books... usually the difference between the two.

In case anyone is wondering, those are MASSIVE spoilers from the book in those spoiler tags after episode 8 aired. So seriously, NO LOOKING!! Unless you don't give a frak then by all means.

Wow, Stannis is a colossal piece of shit. And I think we can put to rest whether or not Melisandre is evil.

If there's one thing the show has taught us, it's that there aren't really any "good guys."

Disagree. I think they have taught us that good guys don't last long.

This. Right now, the "good guys" are probably Brienne, and in comparison to the others, Tyrion. Tonight will be fun.

He seems pretty adamant. If he doesn't come back I wonder what the storyline is going forward. I don't believe that Brienne killed Stannis; they would have shown it.

Well, Melisandre is back at the wall. I just think it's too convenient that they found a way to get her back there just in time for Jon's precarious position. I doubt he stays that way, but he sure is acting like he is.
Some things I liked from the episode: Bye Felecia for Stannis, but is it?, Jamie was on Montel Williams, Indira Varma screwing all of Dorne & Westeros, Theon & Sansa reenacting the ending of The Princess Bride, Lena Headey is a very brave actress, the MOUNTAIN .

That Cersei scene was all body-double.
