I'd be all for bringing Paul George here, but not at the cost of Goran...and definitely not for Rondo

If we trade Dragic and get George I'd be ok with it, if we trade Dragic and get Rondo, I'll be fucking furious and I'm a huge Rondo guy. Trade would make zero sense.

This.

It would be the second time we piss all over Dragic. We better not, especially for fucking Rondo.

Apprently Bosh and Wade are committed to coming back to Miami, but sources close to them say they have no idea what Lebron will do and he told them that when they had lunch a few days ago.

Hmmm...

I don't think we'd bring in Rondo to play with Bledsoe. So that means Dragic to Boston, Rondo to Indy (think he's been linked there before) and George here to pair with Bledsoe?

Apparently the deal is contingent upon Lance leaving...if he leaves, the pacers will make the deal. But why break up the team and trade for Rondo of all people?

And if we take on George, does he play the 2 spot?

No doubt McD's relationship with the Cs front office is in play here but I don't think he would take on Rondo to pair with Bledsoe. They just don't mesh well. Unless he takes on Rondo and uses Rondo to recruit Melo/LeBron? THAT I could see. Rondo and Melo especially seem to have wanted to play together before. But what of Bledsoe?

We move Bledsoe in a Love deal? None of this really makes sense tbh.

Except it's been the US Airways Center for a number of years. :P

FWIW, Bledsoe trade was agreed to one year ago today.

Agreed. If this was legit, we would have heard more about it by now.

Now, I don't doubt that McDonough could pull a big trade out of thin air though. He got Bledsoe for a 2nd and Dudley last year on July 2nd.

Now, what good would the C's get out from getting Goran?

Wouldn't they be better served with a combination of our other assets (LA pick, young Morrii duo, even younger Goodwin and Len)?

I'm sure that they believe that Goran would play well next to Smart.

He he he

Touché!!!

I mean, a player 27 years old, who would lift them high enough out of the lower lottery, but still out of the playoffs... They already had that on Rondo, another All-NBA guard.

Rondo/Smart isnt nearly as attractive as Smart/Dragic.
