Has anyone seen Arrival yet? First 5-star film of the year for me (even though we're already midway through November.) So, so good.

Great to hear. Really looking forward to seeing it. Probably TGiving weekend with my boys.

Koreans are more movie crazy than any American I know, but I'm disappointed that Arrival won't be showing here. I really have no idea how they decide what movies get played in which countries most of the time.

What did everyone think of Rogue One? I was a fan. I think I liked it more than TFA.

I'm not a big Star Wars nerd but I enjoyed it. K-2SO stole the show.

I finally got a chance to see Arrival and loved it. Best movie I saw this year. Thoughtful intelligent sci-fi.

Saw Rogue One and liked it. The last scene with < spoiler below > is kind of chilling now.
Spoiler: show/hide

Rogue One was much better than TFA. TFA was just a mix-tape of the first 3 movies.

Best movie I have seen in a long time was Manchester by the Sea. Don't read anything about it, or watch a preview (because they spoil it). Just go see it. Trust me.

I don't know why, but I have no desire to see Rogue One. Huge Star Wars fan, thought TFA was great (but a bit of a retread). Still, not interested in Rogue.

If both those things are true, go see it. Don't even second guess it.

Ha, I haven't even given TFA a second viewing. It's on everyday, sometimes all day on Starz or whatever and I have no interest. But I watched the original 3 like back to back to back to back a few weeks ago when they were on TNT. Can't explain it.

Rogue One (imo, of course) is much, MUCH better than Force Awakens - which was pretty much a well-done rehash of Episode IV.

This is especially true if you love Star Wars (renamed Episode IV: A New Hope).
