That's a silly statement to make. No one before last season counted Steph Curry as a player that instantly makes your franchise a contender. He is a great player, for sure, but he plays on a great, great team. It's a similarly shaky claim to make about Harden. He disappears every other game in the playoffs, and in the pivotal game 6 against LAC, he was on the bench the entire 4th quarter. Again, great player, but he's not getting you to the promise land by himself. And Chris Paul has never even been to a Conference Final.

Really, it's Durant, Anthony Davis, and LeBron. That's it.
No, that's a silly statement.

I haven't even heard Gerald Green's name mentioned. He must be a third tier FA.

Green's a chucker. He'll find a job, but he won't be in demand. Kind of like Eddie House.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

I did read a Coro piece that said we didn't expect to resign him.

he is a pace and space guy. i would be surprised if he doesnt get at least a 5mil/yr offer from some team wanting outside shooting.

I think LMA is an express ship to mediocrity. He's a nice player, but he isn't taking a team anywhere significant. The team the Suns are putting together isn't any better than the one that has been assembled in Portland. If everything pans out the way the Suns want in terms of acquisitions, they will have built a perennial 2nd round exit at best.
I keep thinking about this also. He would make us good but not great. But it could be seen as a solid building block.

I do hope that at least one of our younglings, namely Warren can be something significant.
Then I hope we have enough assets left in the tank after getting LMA to at some point do an upgrade at another position when the need and opportunity arises

Are any teams in the West not "going for it" other than Minny and maybe Denver. There are going to be a lot of disappointed teams come playoff time. The Wolves are in really good shape to capitalize when the other top teams start falling off.
