Changing jerseys every year is dumb. Having 6-7 different jersey designs every year is dumb. I don't even remotely bother to try to buy a jersey any more because it'll just be out of date so quickly.

It's just a money grab and fans and media are realizing it. They have some good ideas once in a while, but it's mostly just some designer at the team/company throwing shit against the wall and some exec approving it for production.

Yea… it’s frustrating. Then when you finally get a new one that is really cool (looking at you “the valley” jersey) they change it.

The other thing I’ve seen and can’t stand is when replica jerseys are sold with sponsorships on it. I know this was initially done by soccer clubs but starting to see it move to other sports and think it mucks up the jersey.

Look at the most successful franchises in the league. They continue to protect their brand identity. Celtics, Lakers, Bulls, Heat, Spurs. Everyone else is just changing all the time, imo.

I couldn't possibly care less about this stuff. I watch basketball because I like basketball, not because of the laundry.
Nike and the NBA do this stuff because they're constantly in competition for the attention of new, young fans. Welcome to capitalism.

Aren't you an Oregon Ducks fan as well? This is all too familiar territory for you.

More than that, I paid for their little piece of paper.
I just don't subscribe to "losing brand identity" having any affect on fandom. No one is going to stop watching their favorite team because they don't like the design of the uniform. It's just people complaining about something because we like to complain and they think their opinion or taste is better than the people who have careers creating the stuff.

I can understand that… maybe it’s more for me that they stop making the older ones to try to sell the newer ones. I’d rather they just sell them all.

I think that's a manufacturing issue.
There are only so many Uyghrs.

Sadly, they called a charge on that dunk.

They also called a charge when Majerle dunked on Manute. Nobody cared, because it was awesome even if it didn’t get two points.

Ishbia wants the organization to be the BEST at everything, and it was reported that they perceive the Merc and Suns to be on the same level.
