What I love about these Trump tweets ("truths") is that he just clearly is really bummed out that he is no longer running against Joe Biden. Biden was a pushover, headed for a loss, and Trump was riding high. Now Trump is facing a much stronger opponent, and he hasn't found an attack that works. He's worried.

I heard people tweeting that he must have been trying to do a mix of "Kamala" and "Obama" to try to tie her to Obama. I guess? But it doesn't really sound right, and, didn't Obama win two resounding victories when he ran for President?

He’s clearly just doing everything he can to fear monger. It’s just so over the top ridiculous. It boggles the mind that people believe everything says. “They are going to outlaw breathing!!”

He sounds like he’s mentally ill…baffles me that anyone would vote for this guy

The guy just try’s to say the most dramatic and fear-mongering things he can to rattle his base who just lap it all up.

They don’t want convicted felons to vote but they want you to vote for a convicted felon.

They don’t consider him a convicted felon. He was wrongly accused by fake prosecutors and fake judges using fake evidence and fake witnesses along with a fake jury in our fake system.

I hear that getting convicted of a felony, and getting that cool mug shot, has made him the darling of all black voters! #notracist

JD Vance did a stop in Philly right after Kamala and Walz did. Apparently he's following them all around the country making stops in the same cities. I'm not sure that's a good strategy? It's a hard act to follow having your VP try to match the other team's Prez candidate. Apparently he didn't draw a very large crowd.

Here's my projected Trump playbook for the coming months:
Start laying the seed (again... did this in 2020) that the election is going to be stolen
Attack and bully anyone who's not for him and tell everyone they're the enemy
Dispute Kamalamadingdong's citizenship
Fearmonger
Fearmonger
Fearmonger

Other possibilities...
Have MAGA try to actually steal the election with fake ballots.
Quit.... If he see's he's absolutely going to lose, he'll just quit.

To me the biggest danger is that he'll have enough pals in various state governments who will just refuse to certify the election results and electors in their states. This could throw the election outcome into total chaos. 2020 was saved by a hair's breadth, by literally a few dozen election officials and state government workers in various red/purple states, many of them Republican, who did the right thing and followed the process to certify the election. Many of those folks were explicitly demonized, attacked, and pushed out of office by Trump/MAGA, and many were replaced by MAGA goons and zealots who would presumably not do the same thing if placed into the same situation. If a few key states have rogue election officials or governors or AGs or whomever, and they refuse to participate in the electoral college properly, we could have a nightmare scenario where nobody has 270 e.votes and the Trumpy Supreme Court gets to pick who our next President is.

It's exactly what happened to the Maricopa County Recorder... It's sad.

They (Republicans) are without a doubt planting all the seeds they can to be in a position to not certify the next election results.

I don't know what the goal is of statements like this one from Vance. It seems like he and Trump are repeatedly trying to question the validity or legitimacy of the nominees for Prez and VP from the Dems? I don't think that is really going to work well.

This is so (yes) weird. JD Vance goes to where Kamala's plane is parked on the tarmac and talks to the media and acts like he's going to confront her.

I guess JD Vance is trying out an attack on Tim Walz by claiming that Walz bailed on his military service before facing combat. From what I can tell, both JD Vance and Walz served in the military honorably for multiple years and should be thanked and commended for this. I don't really see it as appropriate for either man's service to be questioned; they both abided by the terms and duration expected of them.

What does Vance think of Mr. Bone Spurs?
