Maybe it'll be every NC State prospect.
Based on our experience, I'm hesitant to take anyone from Kansas.

Washington landed the #2 senior in the nation for next year, Michael Porter, so I'm cool with adding Fultz and then Porter in 2018

How about Arizona? They've got #1 senior DeAndre Ayton coming in next year and maybe Marvin Bagley in 2019, the top ranked high school player in any class. Both guys play high school basketball in Arizona.

Well, to be clear, Bagley played in AZ his freshmen year at Corona Del Sol HS and then transferred to Hillcrest Academy at the beginning of his Sophomore year, but didn't stay long. He transferred out to Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, CA early in his Sophomore season and had to sit out the rest of the year. So now, he's in CA, but definite ties to AZ growing up here, Dad was a Rattler and Grandpa is Jumpin Joe Caldwell from ASU and NBA. My hope is that he helps start a renaissance at ASU and brings Zion Williamson with him.

My plan:
1. suck for this year and 3 more
2. draft Fultz (2017), Ayton (2018), Bagley Jr. (2019), Cassius Stanley (2020)
3: Rule the 2020s

Solid plan this.

Maybe Bagley has enough ties to AZ that he'll just come sign with us when our Fultz-Booker-Warren-Bender-Chriss lineup has fallen just short of a title. He'll push us over the top and get us 3 or 4 titles!!

I hope the Suns don't continue to suck for another 3 years. Besides, we might be able to get the 2019 #1 from Miami.

As long as that pick doesn't transfer next year. Miami would have to be top 7 to not send it to us in 2018. That would also mean they'd have 2 top half of the lottery players on their team with Whiteside, Winslow, maybe Dragic, and any FA they sign. I think there is a good shot Miami rebuilds pretty quick and is at least decent. Not likely we are getting a #1 pick from them. Anyone think they might land Blake Griffin next year? Dragic-Griffin-Whiteside plus their top 5 pick would look pretty good. Winslow, Richardson, Johnson, and Johnson are all solid role players as well.
Here's to Miami striking out in free agency and sending dragic away in a trade so those draft picks are very valuable.

I'd actually be surprised if that wasn't the case. Those picks are valuable, but I think we should temper our expectations.

Agreed. Chances are we're getting mid to late 1st round picks from them. If they don't land a superstar in free agency, it's possible they miss the playoffs next year and we land a late lottery pick, but that's probably about the best value we could expect.

I tend to agree with you, but don't dowse my dream and good vibes. Besides, we all thought that the Lakers pick was going to suck and not be valuable this year, but...might be fantastic now.

Haha, sorry. And the laker pick is going to be very good. Decent chance the Lakers actually keep it now. I think they end up last in the west and probably 3rd worst record overall, maybe 2nd worst if Miami starts winning.

Can we dream that we draft a Gobert or Jimmy Buckets with our late first round Miami pick instead?
