Gobert is so overrated and the fact that he is used as the only example to defend spending a top draft pick 7 footer with no offensive game is a joke! How many busts have there been that fit this bill in the last 10 years?

Diop, Noel, Thabeet, Sene just to name a few off the top of my head. There have been many others, and Gobert is like their lone savior. So much bust potential.

Bamba should be picked 10-15 not 5th.

Oh, I agree. Just posing a hypothetical. I'd never waste a top 5 pick on a guy so heavily "one way" as a defender with no offense or super limited offense.

I definitely don't feel that way. My question was more, would you prefer Gobert on a rookie deal, Ayton on a rookie deal or Doncic on a rookie deal, thus the question posted about trading the number 1 pick for him. You have a proven young commidity in the NBA vs 2 unknowns. I think Ayton has a higher ceiling but it's a gamble.

Gobert isn't overrated, I'd put him in the top half-dozen (or so) centers in the league with Embiid, Cousins, Towns, M.Gasol, D.Jordan and Jokic.

He's a difference-maker defensively, a good rebounder and a better-than-competent offensive player.

Some jazz fans definitely overrate gobert, but I think in general he's pretty properly rated. He's elite defensively, anchored the 2nd best defensive team in the NBA, and is the main reason Utah was a 2nd round team. He's limited offensively and that keeps him out of the top tier of bigs, but he's basically the defensive equivalent of Jokic

Some people take it and seem completely awake, but will not remember anything they did. I once thought about using it for overnight trans-atlantic flights, but after reading some of that I was worried I would wake up in a TSA cell and not know why.

Had a sleeping disorder myself and was on ambien for about 6 months. It's very real. The text message threads I'd wake up to were insane. I had no recollection. I burned a few bridges during that span, unfortunately.
