I'm immune to being Carey'd per my history of posting content. Good try though!

I can see why this kid had Ivy League school admissions if he hadn’t picked Texas.
I hope he doesn’t end up in the West because he will be a nightmare to deal with. If the Suns want a high IQ, defensive player who can be an elite rim protector then Bamba would be the pick. Man, it really wouldn’t have been a bad thing to have dropped to like #3 or #4 in this draft.

I think Bamba's a special kid, but actual IQ doesn't always translate to hoops IQ. There are plenty of bright, well spoken bench players in the league.

If any of them have the shot blocking % that Bamba had in college as well as his wingspan and standing reach, then yeah we should go after them too.

It's also possible that we make the best possible pick, but don't end up with the best player. If that makes sense.

Certainly does. That #10 would look really nice right now. Thanks McDonough!

Ryan was really impressed with JJJ. Said he was the best shooter of the #1 candidates in this week. Really impressed with his shot blocking ability in college.

I feel like it takes impact bigs longer to be impacts then us fans are going to be ready for regardless. If they can excel on or before the beginning of their 3rd season Im ok with that and honestly that is pretty impatient.

There's no way we pick JJJ at #1. And I doubt we'd trade down to #3-4 just to take him. Dunno why we brought him in.

Due diligence. Although, what if we parlayed #1 into JJJ and Young?

I hope they can.
Hope they can add another top 10 pick or bring in Trae for a workout?
