It really seems like Paul and Booker really get along, or at least, that they have a lot of respect for each other.
The comment on Paul preferring to calm someone down than hype them up might also be telling about playing with Ayton.

Do anyone have a clip of the play where Simmons and Embiid both flip in the play immediately after Ayton potentially flopped?

I don't think Paul was saying anything about Ayton when he talked about calming a guy down rather than get him going but it certainly applies to Ayton.
It's just frustrating watching DA in a marquee matchup, something he should be looking forward to in order to make a name for himself and show he can hang with the best but instead just comes out flat without any fire. He put up no resistance, hardly touched Embiid all night.

Doing my usual watching over the game with the opposing commentary
Gotta admit I used to do this just to hear biased commentators eat some crow when we win

but I appreciated the Bucks guys and now these Sixers guys were very objective.
The opening graphic for the game was Ben saying he can guard anybody and believe he's the best defender in the league.
They still love Dario, was even like Oh should have gone straight up that time he missed against Embiid in the paint.
The "All State" good hands play was Dario stealing the ball from Embiid that lead to Jae dunk lol.
The turning point was CP3 plays in the 4th so their coverage was more like a national TV game
Just kept praising Book, acknowledging that he torches them and it's not good when you have to watch him do it against your team lol.
Yea so I enjoyed the game, Again.....

Simmons did defend Book pretty well. Book got going against Danny Green...then it just didn’t matter much when they switched Simmons back on him.

Of course Book hits a step back 3 over Simmons and misses the wide open catch and shoot 3..then hits a 30 footer, haha
30 footer? I think it was further out than that. But yeah, I thought the same thing. When he missed the first one, I thought, "Book, you gotta hit that."
Ya it was definitely further...he was a good 10 feet beyond the line. I was typing my comment as he took the shot and just added it real quick. The day Book starts knocking down open 3’s consistently will be great.

I don't think Book's a pure shooter so much as a pure scorer. Obviously you want him knocking down 3s but that's what we really need Cam, Jae and Mikal to do.

I looked up the Booker shooting numbers and they don’t really back up my thoughts.
Book is shooting 44% on catch and shoot this year and 31% on pull-ups.
He shoots better on either 0 dribbles or 3+ dribbles. He’s the worst on 1 or 2 dribble shots.
And he’s been good with tight defense and wide open shots. Not so good on open shots.

Where do you watch replays of the game? Is there a place to watch replays for free?

Isn't he both? If you put Book in a gym and just had him shoot 3s, I think he would shoot about as good a percentage as anybody on our roster. Maybe his season stats don't put him in the same class as the three wings you named, but he's a great shooter. We also tend to overestimate the shooting accuracy of the wings; look up Cam's numbers and you'll find that they are good but not great.

Book just doesn’t shoot the percentage that we think he should. He wins the 3pt contest, he has videos of him hitting 40+ in a row, but he still shoots league average from 3. That 35-36% should be 39-40%
And Cam had been slumping pretty big. He and Bridges were up over 40% earlier in the season.

Yes I've been using League Pass the last two seasons which allows me to choose
Just checked one of my old sites and it still seems to be up and running. Might just have the usual Pop Ups and have to watch which ever feed is posted but this is free

I think Embiid killing us from the midrange yesterday (with Ayton softly contesting) may have been part of the scheme. If he wants to take 15-footers all game, that means he's not getting to the line/getting our bigs in foul trouble and they're not shooting 3s. It seemed to work.

I agree with maybe it being part of the scheme. Even though Embiid is pretty dang good from mid, letting him "have that" definitely helps keep other things from going sideways.

Besides most of those shots being so pure that they didn't even graze the rim, that's the type of shot defenses have to live with when defending Embiid. It's scary how automatic he was hitting it, and his ability to do it from a face-up position makes it even harder to double team him in that situation.

That clip of Dario and Jae playing defense on Embiid and Simmons was so great.
