Hield should be a minimum player until I see some rejuvenation in his game. His last season was a pretty big red flag for me.
Maybe he was sandbagging to not get injured before free agency.

Jingles is a nice signing for Minny; he should fit in well there.
Significant downgrade from Slomo tho.

Philly signs Caleb Martin. They're having a really nice offseason.

That's what we said about us last year. Let's see how it plays out. Martin had a down year last season.

Hornets also waived Bertans and Devonte Graham today.

I'd take Graham on a minimum all day.

Good for Dario. He'll fit right in as their mini-Jokic.

Based on the video I just watched, he's their Choke-ic.

Good for Dario. He’s always held a special place in my heart.

There are still a few interesting FAs available. Very weird that Tyus Jones doesn't have a contract yet.

I don't know...I know we're only dealing in minimum deals but I'd take a bunch of those guys over Okogie I think. You can also add Devonte Graham and Bertans to the list.

I had a feeling at the end of last year Hayward might come to us. I’m not sure how I feel about it now that we don’t have Aaron Nelson anymore.

I really like Dennis Smith Jr. but I guess he is outside our price range and we are probably going to need a bigger four who can rebound and hopefully space.

Aaron Nelson was applying cutting edge training techniques 25 years ago when he was with the Suns. Pretty sure the rest of the league has caught up by now. The Pelicans certainly don't seem to be less injured than the rest of the league (maybe more so!).

The free agent list is interesting, and I agree that I would prefer some of them over Okogie (and I like Okogie). Many of them are not vet minimum players, and I assume they are waiting for the best deal. If someone like Hayward can only get a minimum deal, I would prefer that they cut Roddy rather than take Okogie's spot.

I was thinking the same thing. The Pelicans have had their fair share of injuries.

For sure Roddy before Okogie. No question.

I thought Aaron Nelson got fired from New Orleans…he clashed with Van Gundy and Zion…also they were always hurt.
