Yes please!

Sure if he wants to believe that. Cracks me up…. If he’s so plug n play, why are we .500? I’d take Chet… don’t think he’ll ever reach KDs stratosphere but a good baller and young.

Sell high on KD, reload around Book.
This is the way to do it. KD will still net you at least one young blue-chipper and 1-2 first-round picks. That is a good haul for a star player whose fit / effect on teammates is questionable, who isn't leading us anywhere, whose value is declining, and who is one injury away from being a huge dead weight contract.

He’s an expiring contract next year, so he won’t be a deadweight contract.

I’m all for trading KD, but nothing we’ve seen from the suns FO indicates we are even remotely considering that. At the very least we will need to fail again this year. So I guess root for the suns to stand pat and suck even more than they have?

But KD for our 2027 pick, swap rights back for 2025, Jabari Smith Jr, Reed Sheppard and contracts I would gladly do.

Suns aren’t trading KD, unfortunately.

To play Devil's advocate... injuries, lack of depth, redundancy and obvious gaps in the roster construction.

I know the Suns aren't trading KD and the Thunder aren't trading Chet but Chet would be to Book was Pau Gasol was to Kobe. As crazy as it sounds, they'd probably be a more effective duo because there'd be better balance on the floor with Chet's inside-out scoring and defensive versatility as a legit big.

Ya an actual skilled big man would be fun. When is the last time we had that? Amare?

There was a guy not too long ago but unfortunately, his motivation wasn't there to do it on a nightly basis. And contact? Forget about it!

You think we can get Chet and picks? If so, we gotta.
