Either will immediately transform our defense without turning us into a Memphis style plodding team.

I have no idea who to chase via trade that's remotely available that would improve us. I wrote about it at Real GM. Horford maybe? I doubt the cost benefit would be in our favor. You guys got anyone in mind?
Those two would be my choice as well, but only if we could get them aboard today.

They're not spring chickens by far, both are over 29 years old and Noah is already a lock for 20 missed games every year. Memphis won't give Gasol away with out asking for a King's ransom, and if I'm correct, we are out of cap space for the next summer, so a S&T is a must.
gasol and dragic would make a good pair for any team.
thats true. Dragic for Noah. Everyone's happy. Ha!

I figured all that playing time was a gift to Jackson last night.

i'm a huge marc gasol fan. i think his style of play will carry into his early thirties, if not mid. i know that some on this board aren't as high on him as i am, but i think he'll help take us to the next level. having said that i don't see a way for the suns to get him... oh well.

I'd *love* to have Marc Gasol. But I think he's very content in Memphis. The only chance to get him out of there would be if they have a disastrous 2014-15 season. So I guess I'm rooting for that!

I think this is the case with several teams. Memphis and Gasol, Atlanta and Horford, Portland and Alderidge, maybe even Dallas and Tyson Chandler.

I think Al Horford would be a great (and perhaps attainable) target to go after during/after this season. I don't like him as a center, but as a starting PF I think he'd be great.

He's the same flavor of mediocrity as the Morris Twins, just sold from a higher end store.

I do think the Suns will eventually acquire him though.

The Suns don't have the cap space to pursue Gasol, Aldridge, or Chandler.

Coro: Who's next to join Suns' Ring of Honor?

It's pretty obvious who should be next and it should be SOON!

Al McCoy

The next player is trickier but Nash is an easy choice after he retires. If Hornacek can continue to impress for a number of years as coach, I see him eventually making it too. Do Marion and Stoudemire make it easily after retirement? I would think so.

This was a pretty funny and interesting note in the above article:
With it being preseason, it is nothing to flap chicken wings about, but San Antonio standouts Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Kawhi Leonard, Patty Mills and Tiago Splitter will not travel to Phoenix for Thursday's Suns-Spurs game. That just means more playing time for Boris Diaw to use to get down to 254 pounds.

Classic INF! :P

Hey, what do you think of the Morris twins' contract(s)? I was anti-Morris because I didn't think they would combine well with the Future of the Franchise, aka TJ Warren. But then, I have a lot of trust for McD, so I thought I'd refrain from judgment.

Now, frankly, TJ Warren is surpassing even in my high expectations in limited minutes. Kieff isn't giving us boards or rim protection. I do think the plan all along was to wrap up the Morrises into contracts that used as part of a deal for a star big. I just don't know if it'll work out.

Perfect!

In all reality it needs to be Al. He should have been a part of the original unveiling.

Next is Shawn. Before Nash in my opinion. His peak wasn't as high but he did so much for so long.

I'm not sold on Amare making it.

Speaking of Rich Paul, how about Gerald Green for Kevin Seraphin? Eh?
