Horry and Sam-I-Am (who had a curious likeness to the Lou Gossett alien character in "Enemy Mine") had been major parts of the two Hakeem-led NBA title teams. Then they get dealt to a Suns team that was in turmoil (although the Rockets were in a rapid state of decay, also). I understand their lack of enthusiasm, but they were fairly unprofessional about it. You're right about Mark Bryant, who was solid physically and on the court. The other trade piece was the much-travelled Chucky Brown, a historical footnote.

Didn't we end up having to package a first round pick with Bryant for cap room to sign [CENSORED]? That worked out pretty badly.

I agree with the sentiment that we're not an ideally constructed roster right now. We may have more talent than last year, but the '13-14 roster made more sense.

We're kind of begging for a consolidation trade for an established big. I wonder what a Plumlee, Green, Ennis package could bring in.

Throw in Bledsoe and get back Millsap with another front court player (not a stretch) and a decent two guard in the old Bell mold (best on D and can hit 3s).

I think Atlanta is not going to be interested in a PG the way Teague is playing. Budenholzer loves shooting but they also need a true center to finally play Horford at PF, and they could use a backup PG, but probably moreso a veteran one because for a youngster they already have Schroder.

What about Mozgov? We have discussed him before and Denver is again playing poorly, only that this time they have a rookie center who needs minutes while they could benefit from a pass first PG off the bench. Ideally they'd move McGee instead, but good luck with that.

Mozgov for Ennis, Tolliver and Minni's two 2ndR? Maybe too little when big men are so in demand, but adding a 1stR probably becomes too steep for the Suns.

He is damn good (at times) at shooting us to wins, many times with "No! No! No! YES!" shots. (Start rant within a rant--As much as he drives me crazy at times, I think he is really good for our team.)

i dont even see it that way anymore. everytime he shoots the ball, it's "yes, yes, YES!!!".

truth be told, i prefer the dragic-green backcourt.

if the suns did not sign bledsoe, the starting backcourt would be dragic-green, with isaiah as a microwave type gunner off the bench.

I was roundly laughed at for suggesting we sign Mozgov as a FA a summer ago. But no, no Ennis for Mozgov trades, please.

He's missed 50 shots already this year. He's shooting 40% from the floor and 33% from three. There are a ton of bad shots that he takes.

Yeah Mozgov is a nice C, i really like him and all but i don't know if he's that defensive presence we need under the basket. We should trade for a guy like Taj Gibson or some other good defensive PF like Horford or Millsap. The guy who i like is Stokes but i don't know if our FO is looking to take another guy to develop.

his numbers were better last year when given significant minutes. not panicking right at all, especially after the last game.

everybody's shooting percentages are down, except for thomas maybe.
