Wasn’t very good last year, but I liked him in the draft. Needs to learn to shoot

Is it against the rules for us to sign wings that are like 6-8 or 6-9?
Still, all of these minimum type of signings feel like the big move is coming.

People on Twitter worried this means Mikal is getting trading.

Unless Frank the Tanks injury is not salveagable, I’m not sure why we wouldn’t bring him back. He was a fantastic end of bench option.

I don’t think a 11th man means anything about Mikal. Though Mikal probably is getting traded.

Uhh,...... bye bye Torrey Craig ? This is a lateral move for a bigger move coming up later. I hope.

Landale had a good showing in the Tokyo Olympics which propelled him to getting an offer from the Spurs. Probably not a coincidence the Spurs signed him since it Popovich had a close-up look at him.
He's very similar to Frank with a high IQ and nice outside shot at the position. He's just a bit light, but only 26, so there should still be some time for him to get stronger.

The Phoenix Suns are trading for Australian center Jock Landale from the Atlanta Hawks, sources tell
@TheAthletic @Stadium.
Landale averaged 4.9 points and 2.7 rebounds in 54 games for the Spurs last season.
How I feel about this trade
He is Sarver’s best replacement for Deandre Ayton.
Stop it!

Okogie has never been able to shoot and it'll always be a concern, but he has good size and he plays hard. He's only been on bad Timberwolves teams so maybe there's a chance he becomes more consistent when surrounded by much better players.

Ya, I see him as more of a Craig replacement than a Mikal replacement.. he can’t small ball 5 like Craig though

He won't need to worry about shooting when he's on the floor with Book and KD. Just defend and make layups.

Well being able to shoot would really help Book and KD…no one is gonna guard Okogie.

You have the right idea, but Okogie isn't that guy. Looney is much bigger and more savvy than Okogie.

I get that we're limited to guys signing for the minimum, but this is rough.

James Jones is the one that puts a premium on shooting. But this is hardly the first move that goes contrary to what he values.
