Biz and McGee are a wash, they were redundant so having one back is still good. Payton was awful and Holiday wasn't getting any time. Only issue I see is that Okogie and Lee and two non shooters at SG/SF. Neither can backup CP or Payne so we probably still need to add another ballhandler.
Ish should absolutely be back.

If we spent our whole off-season trying to get KD and didn’t, and now we wasted our opportunity to tinker and improve the core we have, it is a massive failure about on par with the collapse of last years suns.

We better get KD

I didn't hear where Payton signed. Surprising that somebody wanted him.

I saw on Twitter that Okogie is a Klutch client. First time we signed a guy from them since the Watson/Bledsoe/Sarver fiasco. Is that a sign Sarver isn't making decisions anymore?

I don't think he has.

I don't think anyone signed him. I get the impression "lost" was just the word he used to indicate they won't be with the team next year.

He also said he was "leaving".

Yeah, that is the term you use when you stop paying someone to be around. "Leave!" :P

You just know that’s gonna get ugly. You think I’m hyperbolic now, just wait

If we don't get KD, we just re-sign Ayton and grab 1-2 more low-cost guys on short-term contracts and run it back. That will be a very good team, likely one of the best records in Suns history, with an outside shot at a title. Can't much complain if that's the ultimate outcome here.

You'll have to finally change your avatar though if we're going to take you seriously. :P

THIS

Is not like the team was going into this offseason with cap space or an open wallet, and is losing on all those free agents. If any, the outside chance of being the one plucking the Timberwolves instead of Utah, but James Jones lacks the Jedi habilities of Danny Ainge…

-You are going to offer twice the picks
-Danny, I want to offer you TWO first rounders
-And two swap options
-And two swaps, deal?

I wanted a major change. So yes, I am going to be disappointed if we don’t fix any of the flaws from last season and think we’ll have a different outcome next year.

Payne and Shamet cannot be our top guards off the bench.

We need another reliable playmaker.

We need a better big man off the bench at the 4. We need to upgrade or come off Jae crowder.

This is all without KD in the conversation.
