2020 Election Thread
Re: 2020 Election Thread
You know that report is from 2 years ago, right?
Re: 2020 Election Thread
Omg, you are right. My mind is still stuck in 2020, apparently. I totally missed that. I saw the May 1st, but didn't even notice it was 2 yrs ago.
It still takes awhile to get justice, just not quite as long as I assumed it being from this May. Mea Culpa

Re: 2020 Election Thread
This would be a huge deal if true. I really hope they can find a way to pass some laws to make sure future elections will be free and fair.

You have a few videos of a few people dropping off ballots at ballot drop boxes. A huge nothing burger. I’ll be patiently waiting for the convictions of all those 400,000 criminals you caught red handed.
Here's a little more accurate information for you, since you are clearly making shit up for some reason, as you seem to owe some weird allegiance to these criminals.

Fact-Checker Fail: 2000 Mules vs. the media
By Jonathon Moseley
https://www.americanthinker.com ...
In the aftermath of Donald Trump's loss in the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, the American Thinker promoted a variety of false conspiracy theories and claims of election fraud as part of the Republican Party's attempt to overturn the election result.[7] Faced with a lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems, Lifson acknowledged that the site had relied upon "discredited sources who have peddled debunked theories".[8] The American Thinker likewise admitted that its election claims were "completely false and have no basis in fact" and that "it was wrong for us to publish these false statements."[9]

Re: 2020 Election Thread
He's STILL making calls trying to overturn 2020 electoral votes. I don't even know what that would mean at this point.

I don't think he is delusional; I think he knows he lost. He's just trying to seize power anyway, and to fundraise off of the "fight."

Former Republicans and Democrats form new third U.S. political party

LOS ANGELES, July 27 (Reuters) - Dozens of former Republican and Democratic officials announced on Wednesday a new national political third party to appeal to millions of voters they say are dismayed with what they see as America's dysfunctional two-party system.
A group of former Republican and Democratic officials are forming a new political party called Forward, in an attempt to appeal to what they call the "moderate, common-sense majority."
"Political extremism is ripping our nation apart, and the two major parties have failed to remedy the crisis," David Jolly, Christine Todd Whitman and Andrew Yang wrote in a Washington Post op-ed published Wednesday. "Today's outdated parties have failed by catering to the fringes. As a result, most Americans feel they aren't represented."

Re: 2020 Election Thread
IMO this new party announcement is completely stupid. The party has not declared any policy positions on any issues, other than to say that they are "centrist." It's mostly made up of former Republicans and Andrew Yang.
They of course aren't going to do any of the work a serious political party does, working bottom-up by running for local, city, state offices, and growing from there. Instead, they'll do a bunch of fund-raising and just run for US President every 4 years. It's a big grift combined with a bunch of morons who choose to go along for the ride. If anything, the net effect of such a thing will be to get Republicans elected by siphoning off votes that otherwise would have gone to Democratic candidates.

Re: 2020 Election Thread
We don’t really know who they are or what they stand for other than being centrist/moderate at this point. If they are mostly former Republicans won’t it siphon off Republicans? All parties are a big grift. You don’t know what work they are going to put in. That’s like saying a movie sucks before it’s even made. I will definitely be watching and expect failure because anything political is a failure. Am definitely tired of the fringe L and R having the only voices in America.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 4:28 pmIMO this new party announcement is completely stupid. Re: 2020 Election Thread
Do you think the Biden administration has been fringe left?Am definitely tired of the fringe L and R having the only voices in America.
Re: 2020 Election Thread
Yeah there is no way I think the fringe left or fringe right are the most prevalent voices. Centrist for both parties is what is happening. I am not sure there has been a more centrist dem admin than Biden.
Re: 2020 Election Thread
No, I think he is mostly a moderate. He represents the Democrats who are a mixture of moderates all the way to the fringe left. He seems to have tried to make everyone happy and no one is happy. The entire world is going through the same issues right now and America is no different. Each country blames their leaders and the buck stops with Biden in the US. I like Biden. I think he has done a decent job. His age has affected his performance and everyone including Dems see it.
I actually have a much greater problem with the fringe Right than the fringe Left. The fringe left took over Portland and want to defund the cops. They are more open to Socialism and are fixated on lgbt, environment and race issues, which I have no problem with. The fringe Right with all their Qanon, militia anti government everything is a conspiracy BS I have a much greater problem with. They are a destructive force. They have declared the government the enemy of the people. The media is the enemy of the people and by people they mean themselves.
There are moderates in the Republican party. The fringe Right has hijacked the party and moderate voices there get shunned as RINO’s and those who don’t comply get black balled and Trump endorses someone else. I think the moderates in the Republican party are afraid to speak up for fear of reprisals. That makes them weak IMO. Are they there to make a difference or are they there to get re-elected? Most have proven over and over that they are there to get re-elected and have abandoned their morals.
I welcome the announcement of a third party that caters to the center. The center is where we need to be. Compromise isn’t a dirty word. Even if it doesn’t fly, it’s a shot across the bow.

Re: 2020 Election Thread
IMO there's no need for a Forward Party because The Democratic Party already is a centrist / establishment party. They really are quite moderate, especially when compared to liberal or progressive parties in most other developed nations. If you want a "party that caters to the center. The center is where we need to be. Compromise isn’t a dirty word.", that's literally the Dems.Nodack wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 10:18 amNo, I think he is mostly a moderate. Re: 2020 Election Thread
Have you been to Portland recently (like in the last 10 years)? I know they have some left-leaning people, but overall the city is very discriminating to non-white races, and has a ton of anti-American/anti-government militia folks. It has never seemed as fringe left as people from outside Portland/PNW seem to think. It is much more like the little brother/left-coast version of Boston.Nodack wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 10:18 amNo, I think he is mostly a moderate.
