BK was 2-12 from 3 and that last one was an airball. Oof. He's gotta go.
Go Suns!

Thank God for Devin Booker! We have a lot to look forward to with this young man.
The Black Hole Knight has to go! Down 1 at home and in the penalty and he elects to hoist a 30 foot airball 3?!

All I can say is thank god for Knight when our draft chances are on the line. Also unimpressed with the Celtics. They are way over performing what they actually are. They have a bright future but they are not as good as their record suggests.Superbone wrote:Thank God for Devin Booker! We have a lot to look forward to with this young man.

Solid L. Keep em coming.

I disagree with this.I like how the Celtics have been bulit. It helps to find a team stupid enough like Brooklyn to fast track your rebuild. Alot of assets there. They've coulda done more with their draft picks though. Was never a Kelly Olynak fan and still am not. I thought Sullinger would be a bit better, and Avery Bradly is a bit inconsistent. The rumored trade they were going to do on draft night, trading a bunch of picks to move up to nab Justice Winslow, may not of been wise but it shows that they have enough amo to maneuver to get a star or coveted draft pick.dragickingdom wrote:All I can say is thank god for Knight when our draft chances are on the line. Marcus Smart is going to be a hell of a player though. He's also really young. He's younger then guys coming out this yr like Kris Dunn and Buddy Hield. Jae Crowder is the type of versatile player I love and Obviously IT2 is flourishing there.

I like how they are built but don't see anything special besides Brad Stevens. Gotta love Crowder (again, Dallas was destroyed with that trade), respect IT4 (more destruction). Turner is a fav of mine. But still just role players and a gifted scoring guard playing better than the sum of their parts. If Ainge doesn't grab that superstar their ceiling is limited. And they still have a number of needs beyond the proverbial franchise player, namely better shooting, rim protection and athleticism inside.

But they're well set up to grab that superstar. I would say best positioned of any team. Sure, Philadelphia may be right up their with cap space and picks, but Boston is a good team right now with picks, space, and like you mentioned a tremendous young coach. I would say having Marcus Smart is a very relevant piece to mention as well. Imagine if they land Simmions or Ingram. You're adding that to a team that has a top 4 record in the east as well and as what they will add this summer. I just think they're well set up...Again though, alot of this is due to Brooklyn's incompetence.
They have the "role" or "good players" in place to package with picks to trade for a superstar OR they them in place to add a Superstar via free agency and contend right away.

The Celtics are a fun team this year. But they remind me of the Suns from 2 years ago, that year we surprisingly made a playoff run. They don't actually have a lot of players that could be important on a top team. They have 2-3 guys you'd want on your roster and then a bunch of trash. Brad Stevens is a hero who has them playing WAY over their heads. And they have some nice draft pick assets. But I wouldn't want their roster of players, no way.

Not if he can't learn how to shoot. He's been "working" on his shooting for three years now and it's still abysmal.Sunsfan4life wrote: I would say having Marcus Smart is a very relevant piece to mention as well.

It's still mind-boggling how you can have confidence in a GM that gives up a likely lotto pick for this guy, and then on top of that, pays him $70 million.dragickingdom wrote:All I can say is thank god for Knight when our draft chances are on the line.Superbone wrote:Thank God for Devin Booker! Our number doesn't come up. Neither does the Lakers'. MIL picks #4. We pick #5. They get an All-Star. We get crap.

Yeah, but what's not familiar is the pitbull defense hehe. Archie is a goner, I'm afraid.
Re: Game Day: Celtics (42-30) @ Suns (20-52), Sat 3/26/16
Can't say I understand why Price has gotten the nod over Archie these last couple weeks, but when you're in the lovey-dovey coach's doghouse, the writing's on the wall. Maybe Archie + #35 nets us a contributor?
Re: Game Day: Celtics (42-30) @ Suns (20-52), Sat 3/26/16
I still think Archie is a bad locker-room guy or has bad work ethic about practicing and improving. Plus he's associated with the great FoE.
Re: Game Day: Celtics (42-30) @ Suns (20-52), Sat 3/26/16
Agreed. Hate to pigeon-hole, but all you need to do is look at Archie and Devin and it's night and day.
